The location was good and the view was great. However, the wifi was horrible and the host did nothing to rectify the situation. Blankets were thin and it was cold at night.Would not recommend this property as it didn't compare to the other 2 Vrbos we stayed at on this trip.

Unforgettable Stay in the Heart of Ortigia

We absolutely loved our stay at the Seaview Design Home in Ortigia. The apartment was spacious, beautifully designed, and even more stunning than the photos suggested. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the Duomo, excellent restaurants, and the waterfront. Waking up to the view of the marina each morning was a highlight of our trip. This home made our time in Sicily truly memorable, and we would gladly stay here again.

This rental is centrally located for all the sights in Ortigia, and right next to Syracuse. The unit was as described .The view of the water is spectacular. You will want to bring paper products for the kitchen. The check-in/check-out times are not firm. Italy takes garbage separation very seriously.

This is an amazing property in a terrific location. Ortigia in the off-season is magical. Our family had a wonderful time.

Lovely stay in Ortigia

This home is in the perfect location in Ortigia! Restaurants, gelato and the duomo are all a short walk away. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were comfortable.

Great Place

The apartment is in the best location on the island with afternoon sun and sunsets out the window overlooking the water. Spacious and clean.

Best location!

The apartment is beautiful over looking the sea. We have 2 beautiful yachts outside our window.A couple of blocks from the Duomo and Piazza Archimede with the Fountain of Diana..Great restaurants all around us in a historic neighborhood. Accomations were just perfect for our group of 6 people.

staff is very good

everything with our stay was very good. we had a miscommunication regarding the number of occupants and our key requirements, but the staff worked with us and resolved all issues quickly.

Honeymoon

Wow! What an awesome apartment. This was our last stop on a multi-country trip and this apartment was by far the best place we stayed. Very spacious, very clean, and the view was stunning. There was construction in the building across the street, but it did not bother us at all because it was still very quiet. Location was awesome. Highly recommend.

Fourmis au sol. Bruit de la machine à eau chaude. Pas de literie pour le 3e lit. Malgré plusieurs communications avec l’agence Wonderful Italy. Aucune réponse de leur part pour changer la situation.Vraiment déçu que VRBO fait affaire avec eux. Je vais revoir mes prochains booking avec vous et Wonderful Italy

Great location, but apartment needs some TLC

The apartment was in a wonderful location with beautiful views. I was under the impression that there were three bedrooms with three beds, but that was not the case. It only had two official bedrooms. My daughter had to sleep in a the lift that we made into a bed. The apartment was dusty and just didn’t feel super clean. This was not our favorite.

Great location and spacious property in Siracusa

We just spent four nights at this property in Siracusa, and we were extremely pleased. The process before arrival was very smooth, and in fact, the representative from the local office met us at the door. He showed us around the apartment, gave us a map, made some restaurant recommendations, and was extremely helpful. The apartment has a spectacular view, looking out over the water. The floor plan is open, spacious, and very well thought out. There are three bedrooms, two of full bathrooms, and a half bath where there is also a washing machine. Although we did not cook any meals, the kitchen seemed to be well equipped for anyone wishing to do so. The location is terrific. I would highly recommend this property.

Lovely But Lacking

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this beautiful apartment. It is very spacious, had comfortable beds, couches and a beautiful water view. The Wonderful Italy Management representative assisted us with our luggage and showed us how everything worked in the apartment. There was also a small welcome gift of cookies and bottled water. We went into town for dinner...once the apartment key is taken out of the electrical outlet, all systems shut down. When we returned, we put the key back to turn everything on. We could not get the AC to go back on in the bedrooms. The main bedroom cooled slightly, only a fan would come on in the second bedroom. I was very warm...we almost slept on the couches! The wifi barely worked at all. We would have to stand on the tiny balcony and even then only had one bar. I contacted management about the issue, they got back to me the next day and asked that I follow the instructions in the property handbook. The handbook needed to be downloaded; but this was not possible due to no wifi! This was a big problem for us as we had lots of business to take care of while we were in Ortigia. There was no ice in the freezer. There was a tiny broken ice tray. It made enough ice to barely fill a small cup. The same kind representative arrived promptly to assist us with check out. He took note of and witnessed our issues with the AC and wifi. He assured us that we would hear from the management team about our disappointing stay.

Apartment is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The views of the marina were wonderful. Ortigia was a great place to visit. Great food, great views and great weather. What more can you ask for!

Vacation in Ortigia

We had a wonderful time staying at this apartment. The location could not have been better. The views out the window overlooking the harbor were beautiful and offered outstanding sunsets every night. Even when it was noisy outside, the bedrooms were quiet.

Good location

The location was good. The apartment was bright and spacious. The apartment could use more basic supplies. The property managing company doesn't supply paper towels or more than one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, and only one laundry pod for washing. Only the bedrooms were made up; there was no bedding provided for the sofa beds. We had to ask for that. There was not even salt and pepper in the kitchen so you have to purchase everything for cooking. The owner, however, popped over to help with one issue and he was wonderful!
