  • Gorgeous views and a great location make this family-friendly mountain retreat the perfect home base for your next vacation, any season. When it's time to head out, you're surrounded by options. Try skiing, tubing, mountain biking, fishing for trout in the stocked stream right in the neighborhood, visiting Devil's Thumb Ranch for horseback riding and petting goats, and cross-country skiing. Or, relax on the porch and enjoy the mountains' view while playing music via the AirPlay-capable stereo on the main floor.

    Save plenty of time after a day of adventuring to enjoy all the perks at home. The chef can make magic in the upgraded open layout kitchen, featuring a full suite of stainless steel appliances, an induction stove, a single basin sink, a large island, and a drawer microwave, while the rest of the group hangs out nearby. Dine at the large table, or pull up a stool to keep it casual. Unwind by playing a game of pool, and if you're still feeling energetic, the Peloton bike in the office is the perfect place to sneak in a workout. The dedicated desk also makes it easy to catch up on remote work and home is also equipped with Starlink. At the night's end, snuggle up in front of the wood-burning fireplace and stream your favorite shows on one of the new TVs to settle down before bed. Speaking of which, take your pick from one of the primary suites , one of the other comfortable bedrooms, or even the basement which has a divider curtain for added privacy, to rest blissfully for the evening.

    Outside, you'll find a lovely, sun-splashed deck with a Hot tub, perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails.

Awesome house for large gathering of friends

I put together a small reunion of high school friends here and this house was perfect for our large group. We had 7 couples stay and almost everyone had their own room, and there was plenty of space for people to hang out. Definitely did not feel crowded. Location is stunning and the large hot tub was great!

Wonderful home with beautiful views!

Beautiful house with incredible views from the decks! The rooms were all spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. There were lots of games and toys for our kids ages3 to 9 to play with. There were lots of trails to hike and bike within a 15 minute drive. There was a cute little park less than a quarter of a mile from the house that we also utilized every day. Would highly recommend for a large group or family… Very comfortable!

Comfortable, spacious and great amenities

This house is fantastic for a multi-family getaway! Plenty of bedrooms, including a great kids bunk room, and bathrooms too. There was a neighborhood lake just down the road that we loved paddle boarding and fishing in. The kitchen is huge and well appointed. Lots of seating indoors and outside for big groups. And incredible views from the back deck! Overall we loved staying here and will be back!

Great Stay

This was an awesome house for our spring splash group. The house was incredibly spacious and everyone got their own room. Very unique layout but extremely nice and a lot of fun to hang out in. We look forward to hopefully using this again in the future. Fit 4 cars comfortably. Beds were very comfortable and everything was clean!

What an amazing weekend!

Location, location, location. Our family of 3 loved getting to spend the weekend here. It has everything! Anything you need for cooking and grilling, and big table to spread out and do puzzles, VERY comfortable beds, an incredible deck to sit out and enjoy a cocktail while basking in the sun, and to check out the stars at night, a movie theater, and even a pool table! Walking distance is a playground, basketball court, pond that you can take out your SUP on, and take in the views. They were very responsive to any questions that we had, and made our stay a great one! I cannot recommend enough the Sakura house for a relaxing and fun weekend in the mountains!

Great stay in the mountains

Sakura House was very large and comfortable for our group of 7 adults and 4 teens/preteens. When not enjoying the surrounding trails and mountain towns the adults were using the large kitchen/dining area and chatting on the deck with the beautiful view while the kids were playing foosball, ping pong, or playing one of the numerous board games. There was some staining on a few towels and a bedspread (which can be easily replaced), and the wifi was very slow. Also, we had to do some troubleshooting with the dishwasher when we first arrived as it wasn't draining correctly, but we were able to get it working properly after about 20 minutes. Otherwise, it was a very smooth and enjoyable stay.

Awesome house - tons of amenities!

We had a fantastic time at Sakura house. Very close to Winter Park and Granby for skiing, this house has 4 private bedrooms, but three extra beds, a bunch of couches, and tons of space (it can easily sleep 12 comfortably!) Not to mention the second basement kitchen, pool table, TVs & projector screen, sound systems, balcony, huge back patio, and more. We used the very nice gas grill, loved the sunshine on the back patio, and enjoyed using the kitchen to make a bunch of meals (fully stocked with pots/pans/glasses/mugs, plus coffee maker, french press, bean grinder, and cooking basics like oil, sugar, spices, etc.). Toshi really thought of everything about this house to make your stay great! Pictures and listing are very accurate, and he communicates well. We went to Hot Sulfur Springs on the last day there, and it was a wonderful way to end a very fun and relaxing weekend. Can't wait until I can stay at Sakura house again!

Myself and another family stayed at this place for 5 days the week before Christmas. We had 12 people total, and the accommodations and space was perfect for a large party. Beds and pillows were a bit firm, so not to my liking, but others in my party slept okay. The poor rating for this is more geared towards the customer service as this house is managed by Vacasa. We checked in late the first night and tried to make breakfast in the morning and discovered the stove top would not turn on. The oven worked perfectly fine. I contacted customer service and was told how to troubleshoot the issue. We did the troubleshooting and it still didn’t work. I then discovered the two tanks of gas for the grills were also practically empty and we were only able to use that to grill for one night. I reported both of these issues multiple occasions speaking to roughly 12 different agents and all I got in response were some canned robotic statements. I never got any actual help in fixing the stove or getting gas tank replacements. They eventually gave a credit of 200 which is nothing compared to the cost of having to eat out more times due to non-working appliances and feeding 12 people. Especially when we paid thousands of dollars to stay in here and should have had working appliances. We asked for a late check out, but was denied. Somewhere with good customer service would’ve given us one to two hours more. I would not stay here again or in a property owned by Vacasa.

Great for kids, great for groups

So many gems for parents: blackout shades upstairs, pack n' play, inflatable toddler bed, booster seats, potty, kids books, games, art supplies, a lovely playground five houses up the road---and most importantly no random breakable decorative items to protect. You can tell that the owners vacation here, as there are so many darned useful things. Even if you don't have kids, it's a great setup for large groups. There are four private bedrooms upstairs, with a giant loft that has another king bed, sofas, and a movie screen. The downstairs is a large open space with another tv, room to sit, room to eat, tons of dishes and flatware, and a deck that will call to you at least three seasons of the year. Plus, there is a basement studio with a large bed, a twin bed, a pool table, and another kitchen. Plenty of room for cars. You can definitely tell that the rental allows dogs, but there are lots of room air filters to can run if your are sensitive to their fur. This isn't a luxury villa, but it is incredibly practical. So long as you're not looking to walk to bars, dinner, or ski lifts, this is a great choice.

House was great!

Thr property was nice but dirty. All thr floors were dirty. Toilets were dirty. Nothing was vacuumed. Stairway carpet had stains everywhere and all mirrors.were dirty.

Love this quirky house

We loved staying at the Sakura House! Described as "quirky" by the owner, it lived up to its name, but it was perfect for our 12 people and 2 dogs. The beds were comfortable, the house clean, the appliances recent and in good working order, and the view breathless! We will definitely look into renting this house again during ski season!

Very spacious

We had plenty of space, pool table, great views, close to RMNP, close to Winter Park, lots of hiking trails, lakes with trout We would recommend this unit !!!
