Although the host does attempt to make the space comfortable and check-in was easy, the kitchen is much more dated and run down than pictures show. We had an issue with ants in the kitchen that the host did send a pest person to handle, but unfortunately we still had to deal with them throughout our stay. Ants were also in the bedrooms. Decor is tasteful and comfortable, but overall the house can use a deeper clean and update paint on some walls. The tub in one bathroom needs attention, it’s painted over and peeling. We knew the house is on a busy street, I didn’t find the noise an issue, but my husband did, so it’s an individual preference. If you need absolute quiet to sleep then sleep in the lower room or master suite. The other two rooms are closer to street noise, but my teens didn’t complain. We didn’t get to enjoy outdoor space as it rained the entire time we were there. The view from kitchen was pretty. Kids enjoyed the pool table and dart board.
