The location was great! Close to a TRT trailhead for hiking, close to beach access. The restaurants nearby are really good. I liked how close it was to a Safeway. There were plenty of cooking utensils and dishes for our thanksgiving dinnerMy only issue was that the upstairs was freezing cold. The heater seemed to work on the main level, but was not flowing upstairs. Additionally, in one of the bedrooms upstairs the overhead fan would not turn off unless the lights were also off. We couldn’t find a switch to just turn the fan off.Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to ski. There was very little now on the mountains this year during thanksgiving.

Wir fahren schon seit 10 Jahren auf den Lake Tahoe - gebucht wird online und jedesmal ein anderes Objekt.Nur diesmal hatten wir äusserst schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht.1. Die Bilder sind hochglanz und ensprechen nicht den Standart der Unterkunft - es war bisher unsere teuerste Unterkunft am Lake und haben uns auch eine bessere Qualität versprochen - in Wirklichkeit war die Unterkunft in die Jahre gekommen und war bisher die schlechteste die wir je gehabt haben - Auf den Punkt gebracht Preis/Leistung hat überhaupt nicht gepasst.2. Wir haben über Vrbo gebucht und auch die Bestätigung bekommen das die Buchung verbindlich ist.In Wirklichkeit wird es von einer Agentur vermittelt die sperat mit den Kunden kommuniziert - Es wurden seperate Verträge geschickt die ich so nicht akzeptiert hätte wenn die Buchung über Vrbo nicht schon verbindlich wäre.Die Verträge sind aber im Spam gelandet so das wir lange keine Kommunikation hatten und nicht wussten was ist los.Es wurde uns dann nach Einschreiten von VRBO versprochen wir bekommen die Daten (Adresse, Zugangscode) am gleichen Tag erst um 16 Uhr.Bekommen haben wir die Daten erst um 18 Uhr am Tag der Vermietung!!!!Fazit: Äusserst schlechte Kommunikation und es müssen zusätzliche Verträge über mehrere Seiten mit äusserst unfreundlicher Kommunikation unterschrieben werden - und man hatte keine Möglichkeit mehr der Stornierung - weil ja schon von VRBO alles aktzeptiert worden war und keine Stornierung inbegriffen.!!!!

Great location!

My family of six people stayed here in September, 2023. The location was perfect (easy drive to Kings Beach), and we also drove down the coast to South Lake Tahoe within an hour drive--hitting a few towns/scenes along the way. The house was clean and well stocked with the cooking/comforts we needed. Would stay here again if our travels take us back to North Lake Tahoe

Perfect two family cabin!

The Cedar Chalet was perfect for us! We had two families, and everything was perfectly cozy! Nice, clean and easy to access all of Tahoe’s fun spots! We look forward to coming back soon!

Great place!

Awesome and modern property that’s well stocked with everything you need for a Tahoe vacation. Upstairs rooms are spacious and downstairs rooms are nice too. One downside is the road up to the house isn’t a high priority to get plowed and was only plowed part-way so high probability you’ll get stuck or snowed in if there’s a freak storm. But that will be a rarity! Beyond that, great location. Would recommend!
