“This area was absolutely gorgeous! It was remote and very peaceful. The staff was above and beyond in their care and helpfulness. We were a little confused on how to leave this area as there was a small landslide that blocked one of the roads and one of the owners took the time not just to explain but drove in front of us until we were back on the main road guiding us the whole way. I have traveled many places around the world and this has to be by far my most favorite place I have stayed....

“We spent one night at the Banyan B&B, and had a very pleasant experience here. The host is very polite, friendly and helpful and gave us some more tips for our onward journey. The room and bathroom were clean and we have nothing to complain about. The garden with the impressive trees is like a fairytale forest. “We stayed in the Chinatown room. It was absolutely stunning and comfortable, even though it might not have been properly cleaned - we found an empty water bottle under the bed. The location is quite good - a 20-minute walk from Hua Mak skytrain station, it's going to get much better once a new MRT line is finished (the construction makes it difficult to reach some shops now). When we return to Bangkok, we are surely going to try some other rooms. Great concept!”
