The reception team were welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived. They had requested my arrival time and the room was ready on our arrival at 12.30 which was great as this was well before their normal check in time. The room was clean. We found the bed very hard but requested a mattress topper to soften it the next morning and it was immediately done which we appreciated. It made a big difference to our sleep quality. We were not very excited by the breakfast. It was a struggle to get ripe pineapple and they struggled to give my fried eggs that were not broken. The cake and pastries were the same everyday. The coffee was very good. We do appreciate in a small hotel offering a big buffet is hard but to ring the changes a bit more on the cake and pastries front would have been nice. Never a problem to get a sunbed and the pool was very nice. The rooms were very dark but we did expect this based on other reviews. We would definitely return for a few nights.
