“Warm, friendly welcome by the owner. As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog. “The hotel was nice and comfortable and furnishings modern. the bed was extremely comfortable. The outside bar area overlooking the tidal estuary was lovely. We had an evening meal the first night of our stay that was delicious and reasonably priced. The location is great and extremely handy for public transport. The railways station is literally next door and that is how we travelled. Only a couple of things to be aware of, the access stairs to the upstairs rooms are narrow and extremely steep.”
