“Pet-friendly BUT you need to know that the guesthouse is just a small part of a large caravan and camping site. There’s also a field of horses. Guesthouse clients with dogs are only allowed in rooms accessible from the outside; we weren’t allowed inside the building. So my room opened directly onto the access road, with all the mud and noise that comes from all the traffic, walkers, and horses that passed in front of the door and small window. “The room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfy, the hosts are lovely and friendly and very talkative and they offer lots of knowledge about walks and activities in wales and have leaflets avaliable with information about activities. The hosts were also very quick to help with anything that was needed. Also the breakfast was amazing and there was lots of options to choose from”

“The inn is lovely, perfect location, great staff, good food, free parking on the road, wonderfully comfy bed and great bathroom… but beware of room 7 with a sea view.. on the second floor up steep steps but the reason for the 3 star rating is that you will constantly hear the water pump every time anyone in the hotel uses a drop of water. ALL NIGHT LONG! Very hard to sleep or stay asleep when is constantly starting up close by the bed. Were exhausted the next day, so glad we only stayed one...

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Ideal location for Fairbourne and surrounding area - you need to go to Dolgellau, Barmouth and try the Precipice Walk and Creggannan Lakes which were lovely walks with stunning views. Nice to get some milk and Welsh cakes which were lovely. Cottage was clean and comfortable, only minor negative was limited information about what to do at check out time, local contacts etc. and there wasn’t much in terms of cleaning equipment apart from a broom so couldn’t do...

“We stayed at this lovely apartment 19th-23rd February on arrival it was easy to acess and clean we are a family of 4 two teens who’ve both said they’d visit again. The apartment is a five minute walk to the train station and the town and the beach is opposite. Just a shame it weren’t pet friendly! ”
