We had a large room with the the balcony and sea view. Room was in need of refurbishment but kept clean and tidy. Swimming pool was a great addition to the holiday and kept well maintained. Reception staff was very helpful.

Most of the staff did not speak English. Only one person can speak just a little. There was no WiFi connectivity in the room. I noticed another guest was also looking to get help to get connected to WiFi. There a person who seems to be the manager or maybe the owner, was trying to help the lady who needed help get WiFi was kind of angry somehow.

Uitzicht en ligging waren heel goed. Kamer en balkon waten ruim rn praktisch inhericht. Het hotel oogt wel verwaarloosd en het personeel is vriendelijk, maar niet professioneel. Zo werd er eerst een te hoge toeristenbelasting genoemd, terwijl het juiste bedrag de helft lager was. Schoonmaak gebeurde traag en was maar net hygiënisch. Ontbijtbuffet was ok, hoewel de thee elke dag koud was. Een keer kwam er een gast onverwacht mijn kamer binnen (ik ben een vrouw en alleen), omdat ze de verkeerde sleutelkaart hadden geactiveerd. De rest van mijn verblijf heb ik de kamerdeur dan ook van binnen gebaricadeerd, ook omdat het slot niet werkte.

I’m so happy I chose Hotel Don Alfredo. The location is perfect—everything is within walking distance. The outdoor breakfast terrace is beautiful, cozy, and a lovely place to start the day. Check-in was quick and easy, the staff was kind and welcoming, and the hotel was very clean. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were good, and I loved the window overlooking the street. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s charming, comfortable, and has everything you need. I would definitely stay here again. 9/10!

L’hôtel est vétuste, ne pas se fier aux photos. Le personnel est aux petits soins. L’emplacement est excellent. La vue des chambres est belle.

J’y ai passé un très agréable séjour, la chambre est confortable et propre et la vue sur mer très jolie; mais le liner de la piscine a besoin d’être changé.

Zero service – Shockingly bad for a 4-star hotel 🅾️ I had a terrible experience at this hotel. I arrived late at night to a room with a broken AC. The next day, front desk told me it was a hotel-wide issue and would be fixed. Because it was boiling hot, I had to stay outside all day. When I came back, the AC was still broken and there was no running water to take a shower. The water was gone for hours without any information from the staff. After multiple complaints, they moved us to a bigger room, but the AC was still broken there too. We had to sleep with the windows open and I woke up covered in mosquito bites every morning. The AC never worked during my entire stay.

Great location with free parking if you only want basics. Staff was unable to help- ac not functioning much, no phone in rooms to contacts reception if needed, bad WiFi, no manager on duty. Staff kept saying it’s not their problem. They were completely aware of hotel issues not being up to date.

The very best staff. I loved the hotel. Breakfast I have to fail: very cold eggs and potatoes and breakfast meats. They must buy and use sterno. Sterno is a flame to keep breakfast warm. In Boston USA it is against the city law to serve foods WITHOUT THE PROPER TEMPERATURE: hot foods should be hot. Not cold. I ate MY breakfast three times at The Tulip Hotel. Everything was hot and good. Sorry for this bad note but breakfast foods :eg: eggs and meats and potatoes MUST BE HOT. JOHN PAYNE, BOSTON

Breakfast was disappointing and not ready on time. Few choices but if you're hungry you'll eat it. Great coffee machine. The staff are friendly but view you as a walking ATM. They tell you a price to go somewhere, when you walk two hundred metres up the road, a taxi is half the price to the same place.

DO NOT book at this hotel. I made a reservation in June which was for 3 nights and paid for in advance. When we arrived at the hotel we were advised despite our reservation that they had no room for us. They claimed a system error and we were told by the young male at the front deal that it "wasn't his problem". They made no attempt to assist us in finding another place to stay so we had to sort that out ourselves. While I can't speak to the rooms I will say the pool looked run down and they were playing very loud music by the pool. Save your money and do not book here.

We have a really nice room, it wasn't cheap tho so sad it wasn't clean, it has a balcony where I was tryin to play with my kids but was really dusty. I got two cribs for my babies but whit not mattress, juts some puffy quilts that kind of save the situation lol anyway I was there only for a night, we did went to another hotel for dinner and it was cheaper and was looking more modern and better. Not bad for a un planing trip, will save you!

Very friendly reception, breakfast and cleaning staff. The man in front of the hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. Therefore I recommend the hotel, but the hotel needs some investment to be up top date, especially the rooms.
