July 4th Getaway
We decided to make a last-minute trip to Taos for the holiday and this worked out perfectly for my husband and I. Nicely decorated, clean, small room, perfect for the two of us. Great view of the fireworks too! Easy communication, check in and check out. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Peaceful stay

Stopped to ski
Property was clean and reasonably comfortable for two people. This property is a true adobe structure. There is a cabinet for some storage of clothing or other belongings. We were provided with a microwave which was a nice convenience. Located within walking distance of historic Taos and some restaurants. We had several suitcases and ski boots and it all fit, but it was tight. The area around the bed is very tight. We drive to Taos Ski Valley was an easy 30 minute drive. Overall, a good place for two people convenient to many things.

THIS PLACE WAS PERFECT FOR US!
There were so many positives about this property. The location is very close to the plaza. We had two other couples joining us on this trip and it was nice for everyone to have their own lodging, yet all close to one another. There was parking, which is sometimes tricky to find around Taos, and the communication with the owner was outstanding. Check in directions were clear and easy. When we have another trip to Taos, we would definitely look at the availability of this place again.

Perfect place for exploring the Taos Area!
We enjoyed our stay in the Taos Room which was small as described but very clean and tastefully decorated. The patio had seating areas, beautiful landscaping and water fountains. It was a quick walk into town and a nice base to explore out from. The hostess was very responsive and left goodies in the fridge!

Lovely little place with one caveat
I very much enjoyed my stay...once I arrived. Unfortunately, the directions had me going through an entrance where my pick up, literally, would not fit. Once I had attempted it, it was very difficult to extract myself. It turns out that there is another entrance that worked fine. If you have a larger car (SUV, pick-up, etc.) I would call the manager to get information about the other entrance. She said she cannot give it out in her welcome email, but I do feel that she could have at least let me know in that email that I should contact her if I wasn't traveling in a sub-compact!

Charming cozy New Mexico
Charming property in great neighborhood within walking distance of plaza and downtown. Compact but just what we needed. Only suggestion: hanging space like a free standing garment rack.

Beautiful, cozy hideaway
My partner and I stayed in the Taos Room for four nights, and we will 100% stay again on our next visit. Our charming room was clean, quiet, warmly decorated, and kept us cozy when evening storms rolled through. A peaceful central courtyard just outside the door, complete with seating areas and a wisteria-shaded pergola, was the cherry on top. Would recommend to all visitors.

Somewhat ok!
The couch was very uncomfortable, toilet definitely needs to be taller. Tv is way to high. It really needs a small air unit maybe a mini split unit. Overall stay was pleasant just a little uncomfortable.

No air conditioning in the 300 sq ft unit
I almost lost my mind when I found there was no air conditioning. New Mexico in June?? I thought I would die. It’s a Pueblo house and there’s no crime there so you leave the windows open!!! Being from Nashville-super crime ridden— i was shocked but it actually turned out great. Be aware. Read details. 300 sq ft It’s small but my friend and I made it work painlessly! The owner and manager were both very helpful and answered the phone immediately when I called. We got a flat tire and the manager’s brother or husband-not sure which-came right away and had it changed for us in about 30 minutes. I couldn’t ask for a more pleasant garden either. The place was very nice and soooo quiet!!! NO street sounds NO neighbor sounds. Amazing experience-no wonder they live in Pueblos there. It’s fantastic!!!

The property was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the communication from the property manager was great! The only thing that was a little challenging was the entrance to the property as we were driving a standard bed pickup with 4 doors. Maneuvering into the lot was a bit tight, but after we got into the property we found a alternate entrance/exit. Great place and would recommend

Just a short walk from the plaza, nice room, shower heads not for tall people, super comfortable bed. I would think the grounds are really pretty during the warm months. Highly recommend for singles or a couple in town for a few days

Cute little Pueblo studio
This place is within walking distance to Taos Plaza, restaurants and 30 minutes from Taos ski valley. Parking was safe and secure in a private lot. There was a coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave so it worked well since I always like to bring my own food. I recommend staying here and would go back.

Cozy lil’ place close to town
This was a cozy studio convenient to town and had everything you need. The old building gives it both its charm and quirkiness (the raised toilet took some getting used to) but it was close to town and we would stay here again.

Location Location Location
Such a cute little space. Keep in mind that this building is *old*, so features (plumbing, water heater, noise) are not to modern standard, but that is apart of the charm! This place is within a 10 minute walk of any restaurant, brewery, art, or coffee house you could want to visit, and it is extremely clean. We're very pleased this is where we spent our weekend.

So quiet
We were looking for a comfortable, quiet place for the night and we found it. It was very clean and everything we needed was there..even a very friendly kitty cat! The ambiance was outstanding..very charming courtyard with beautiful flowers and the architecture was awesome. If we get back to Taos we won't stay anywhere else.

safety issues
When unlok the door a d step there is drop off. You fall into the room. There is no warning, the light switch can not be found untill you are already in. There are wires by the bunch all on one extention cord.There is a wire toward the end of the bed that I tripped on going to the bathroom at night. The toliet is on a raised area but so close to the front of toliet you have balance one f oot on and one foot off. The refige was so small one could not keep ice and finally, no closet to hang your cloths in, we came for 5 nights with lots of cloths, bummer.

I’m really sorry that you didn’t enjoy your stay , I think you were unhappy from the beginning because you thought you were getting a full condo with a complete kitchen living room etc for $95 a night . There are two different places to hang clothes and the refrigerator is small it’s just intended as a convenience for beverages and a few snacks or breakfast items . The building is over a hundred years old therefore it is different than modern construction. I’m so sorry you didn’t enjoy the gardens , the close proximity to the plaza , shops, galleries , restaurants etc. or the beautiful art that’s in the room.

Incredible, cozy stay in Taos
My husband and I spent the last night of our "mini-moon" road trip here in late July and couldn't have been happier with it. You can easily walk to the plaza from the historic home. The place itself is small, but it was perfect for just the two of us. Note that it's a studio and there really is not any kitchen, just a fridge and a microwave - it wasn't any issue for us but something to think about if you're planning a longer stay and want to be able to cook. It was pleasantly cool inside in spite of the high temperatures outside. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Treated Poorly
Three stars because I never set foot in the property and I can't submit a partial review. My Story: I booked/paid months ago, then one week past the 60-day cancel window wildfires caused the closing of all surrounding state and federal recreation areas, not to mention the dangers around uncontrolled wildfires. Had to message/call/voice mail several times to reach the host to try and cancel, who then passed me off to property manager, who passed me back to host who said NO - that took 2 weeks. Would not even accept a partial penalty, they kept 100%. They wanted me to cancel with $0 refund, probably so they could rebook and make twice the money. Buyer beware on this property.

Just one night for an event in Taos
Super sweet room. Definitely could feel the love from the folks taking care of the place! Bed was comfy. Coffee maker in the room. Lovely little compound! Quiet as could be! Love the screen door! Awesome location with an easy walk to the Plaza and Kit Carson Park. I slept great. Felt safe and comfy! I’ll be back!!
