Loulou Lodge - family fun, close to lake

Loulou Lodge is a light-filled, single-level Taupo home with generous outdoor space, just a short stroll from Lake Taupo.



Set in a quiet residential street in Taupo, Loulou Lodge puts you within easy reach of Lake Taupo, the Two Mile Bay Sailing Club, and the Richmond Heights shopping centre — everything you need for a relaxed lakeside getaway is close at hand.



The home is all on one level, light and bright throughout, and laid out in a way that simply works — whether you're here with family, friends, or a mix of both. A large deck on one side of the house and a patio on the other give you plenty of room to spread out, soak up the sunshine, or fire up the BBQ after a day on the water.



Inside, four bedrooms* comfortably sleep up to eight guests, while two bathrooms keep things moving in the mornings. The lounge features a gas fire and heat pump to keep things cosy in cooler months, and there are electric heaters in each bedroom. A Nespresso machine is on hand for your morning coffee.



Outside, the fully fenced section is a real asset — safe and spacious for kids to roam freely, with enough room on the back lawn to park a boat or trailer. A small secure garage provides handy storage for bikes and gear.



Whether you're here for sailing, lakeside walks, mountain biking, or simply unwinding in a well-set-up home, Loulou Lodge offers an easy, comfortable base from which to enjoy everything Taupo has to offer.



*Please note: The third bedroom provides the internal access to the master bedroom and ensuite. There is also external access directly into the master bedroom if preferred.



The fourth bedroom (nook) is a very small sleeping space with no door and is best suited for a child.

House Rules and Information:



Parking: 3 x off street parking on lawn, including boat parking. The garage is not a full sized garage to park a vehicle in and is best suited to store bikes, golf clubs, lake gear and other valuables.



Security cameras: Please note the property may have security cameras in outdoor areas.



Pet-friendly by prior arrangement only. A pet fee and bond applies.



Linen included: Professionally laundered linen and towels are provided.



Cleaning: An exit clean is included in the nightly rate. Please leave the property tidy, dishes clean, and all food removed. Additional cleaning charges may apply if these standards are not met.



Parties/events/noise: No parties or events. Please keep noise to a minimum after 9pm out of respect for neighbours.



Smoking/vaping: No smoking or vaping inside the property.



Minimum age to book: The primary guest must be 25 years of age or older to make a booking.
