Everything was wonderful, very comfortable and comes complete with everything needed including spa towels. The view is superb. Would definitely love to stay again.

We loved it!

We stayed at the Scenic Solitude, which was perfect for my family of five. Beautiful home with large bedrooms and comfortable beds. The view was outstanding and we loved the spa! The hosts were very accomodating, I’d definitely recommended this place to others. A

A great getaway spot

An awesome house for our group of two families. Very clean and well equipped, with everything we needed for our weekend stay. The kids loved the outdoor space and garden. We loved the hilltop location with the amazing views. A great getaway spot but still within easy reach of town and other activities.

Exceeded Expectations - 5 STARS!

This property was everything and more than we expected. Beautiful home with everything you need in excellent working condition, great neighborhood and breathtaking views of Lake Taupo. My first trip to New Zealand and I couldn’t have been more pleased. This home is definitely one you don’t want to overlook if you are planning to stay in the Acacia Bay Area. We will definitely be back!

A perfect stay

We loved everything about this property so much so I didn't want to leave. My only problem was the couch in the lounge it was just too low. The gas fire ran out while we were there on the first night. Amazing views and the bird life, pheasants. Quails ot what you see in the centre of town. Would return

Top notch

Lovely spacious warm house, with exceptional views. Very private and quiet being up the end of the road. Wouldnt hesitate to stay again

Quiet and Roomy

The location is great, it does have a pretty great view, and it is very quiet. It is still a neighborhood; it is technically rural but other houses are pretty close and still in view in most directions. It is at the end of the road and one of most private spots in the neighborhood. Would be good for a larger group or multiple adults. There is a bit of a pretentious feel to the place in spite of some things not being as high end as put on. The hot water for showers can run out with back to back showers even with only a few people trying to be fairly quick. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and would recommend it.

Weekend stop-over

Lovely property, lots of space, great parking. For a house of this high standard I was a little disappointed by the cleaning standards.
