Walnut Cottage - Private Outdoor Spa

Walnut Cottage is a beautiful and peaceful sanctuary that exudes lightness and ease. Open plan living spills seamlessly onto a large deck, the perfect place to unwind and take a breath. With 3 bedrooms, 2 inside & 1 in a separate room outside, it sleeps 6, in 2 queen beds and 1 king bed. Parking is plentiful out the front, privacy is in abundance around the back. Thoughtfully renovated and furnished, step in, take a breath and relax (especially in winter in the hot spa!)

Welcome to Walnut Cottage! This is a peaceful retreat with your own private garden. For kids there`s a treehouse in the Walnut tree with its own sandpit underneath. Sunrise or starlight, it`s a wonderful way to start or close your day.

The house is very close to both the lake and Taupo town centre, with many shops and restaurants a 5 minute drive. It`s also an easy walk to many of the fun activities Taupo has to offer, from bungee jumping to bush walks, mini golf to the world heritage Tongariro Crossing.

When you`re staying at Walnut Cottage the house will be yours. Feel free to make yourselves at home, spread out, and enjoy the garden, and tree house.

PET POLICY
We are happy for you to bring a small dog with you, but you must get approval from us first, include a pet in your booking, and agree to the following :
1. The dog must not go on the beds or furniture
2. Any doggy doo deposited in the grounds must be collected and disposed of
3. The dog must not be left alone in the house at any time.
4. You will pay a $55, one-off pet fee that will be included in the nightly fee by Airbnb at the time of booking. Please remember to tick the box to include your dog in your booking.
If you are wanting to bring along a pet please first read our PET POLICY, and contact us to check if we can accommodate your request.

Smoking is allow outside and away from the house. Please do not smoke near open doors or windows, and please dispose on all cigarette butts and clean out any ashtray that you may use. Any evidence of smoking will result in a $45 cost to you. If the inside of the house smells of cigarettes in any way you will need to cover the cost of having the smell removed, which is not cheap, so please adhere to the rules.
