The name Casa Portuguesa precisely represents the origins and identity that inspire this accommodation. It features a bedroom located on the upper floor, accessible only by stairs, a bathroom and an open-plan area that harmoniously integrates the living room and kitchen. Ideal for couples or small families, the accommodation includes high-speed internet, television with international channels and all the amenities necessary for a comfortable and peaceful stay.



Located in the centre of Tavira, you will have the opportunity to easily discover the authenticity of the city, strolling through typical streets, local restaurants, cafés and historic areas. In the past, street names were often assigned according to the activity carried out there or in honour of important figures who lived or were born in them. During archaeological work and surveys, remains of an ancient furnace were discovered, which is presumed to have been used for iron smelting and axe manufacturing, located where the bathroom is now situated — a historical reference that helps explain the street's name. The location also allows quick access to the region's beaches and the charming scenery of the Algarve's leeward side.
