“Without a doubt, this is the best property we have ever stayed in. Its appointed to the highest standard, you will not think of anything that you need which is not already there! The views at the front are stunning. I cannot recommend this property enough, within easy reach are Oban, Inveraray and slightly further afield Fort William and Stirling. As much sight seeing and walking as anyone could reasonably want. A must must stay.”

“This a lovely chalet in a beautiful location....incredibly peaceful with fantastic views. It was more spacious than I expected from the photos and was very comfortable. The kitchen area is small and it would have been good to have bit more storage space for food. There's a great variety of walks in the surrounding area and I was happy to see otters nearby. ”

“We were very nervous about this property because Expedia/VRBO did a horrible job of communicating check in .. instead of telling us to contact the host all they need to stay is that keys would be available. That barge is not pretty from the outside, but amazing and unique . Great beds, view of the harbor, and big shower are just a few of the cool feature. We had ducks and swans passing by our window all evening. The location could not be better, across from two good restaurants and a bar....

“My daughter and I absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Lochead Chalet. It's in a wonderful spot right on the loch side, and oh my it is so very peaceful! The chalet itself was a perfect size for we two adults and our little dogs and we found it very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Karlina in the Ellary estate office was lovely too. A beautiful location for a holiday and a charming place to stay - highly recommended. ”

“The location was excellent. The house was well kitted out and had plenty of everything in kitchen living room etc. Had plenty of games to keep you amused. Local hotel was good and within 5 minutes walk. Shop nearby. Short distance to Portavadie and Colintraive that allowed access to ferries giving plenty of places to visit.
