They did not send check-in instructions one day before as they promised. So I contacted them in the chat one day before, they replied that they would send all information.
But when they still didn’t do it the night of arrival, I contacted them again but didn’t receive answer on chat or phone.
We went in to the neighboring hotel, and they said this was the fifth time this week this had happened with HB Elementa; poor guests arriving without being able to contact them, and not being able to check in.
So we lost the first night, and had to find another hotel and pay double. The next day after help from hotels.com we got the instructions and could finally check in.
Still HB Elementa refused to refund for the first night, even if I had made no mistakes.
They either made a mistake with us, or this is a pattern and they do this on purpose. Very bad service.
Otherwise the room is very nice with everything you need and in a central location.
Just make sure you’re sure you get the check in instructions and don’t trust them.
