“We had a wonderful stay at Echor Tree Mandara Village. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, great location and kind staff. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious, and the restaurant was delicious. It also has a beautiful view of the mountains and Dharamshala. Highly recommended and will be staying again when back!”

“We, as a family, had wonderful experiences at this Hotel. Checkin was smooth. Food was awesome. View from the room were breathtaking, beautiful! It rained overnight very heavily and experienced a water leak in some areas, but Hotel staff was very prompt in responding to the situation. Checkout had a glitch with International credit cards, but managed with UPI payment options. One word of caution though, this place is not for the faint hearted people, its very stiff climb up the stairs to top...

“I was physically attacked by the manager of this hotel. He became very aggressive when I offered to pay with an international card but he only accepts cash or UPI. When I wanted to get cash for him, he refrained me from taking by bags in the car. When I tried to leave, he grabbed me at the throat and scratched my arm. When I left one bag behind to get cash, he locked up the driver and took his keys and phone. Sunny, the manager, is a dangerous man and I warn you to stay away from the hotel....

“Debo aclarar que nosotros nos alojamos en una habitación superior, con balcón y excelente vista. El único inconveniente es que el hotel carece de calefacción y por la noche hace frío, (nos trajeron un caloventor chiquito pero no era suficiente) El trato del personal fue muy cordial, tratando todo el tiempo de brindarnos lo que tenían a su alcance. Ubicación estratégica, muy cerca de la residencia de Dalai Lama. Altamente recomendable.”
