“Beautiful hotel and garden, right on the river. Didn’t have breakfast but looked good. Rooms were like soho house! But - they don’t have a steamer to use (so struggled to steam my suit for the party i was attending) ”

All staff were very friendly and a big thanks to Duty Manager Paul who went out of his way to make our stay special as we were there celebrating my wife's birthday. “Very nice ground floor room with small patio overlooking the garden. Room was very comfortable with all the amenties that one needs, We had a good dinner with our grandkids. Breakfast buffet was good with fresh farmhouse bread etc. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.”

“We arrived about 6pm. We went through from the bar area to the hotel section and we’re very warmly greeted, given all the info and made to feel very welcome. The room was cosy and had good views out. The decor and particularly the bathroom needed a bit of TLC. It all worked but needed the odd bit of paint here and there and maybe new carpets in the halls. Breakfast was fantastic! Overall very good and great for the below average last minute price we paid. The location is stunning!”
