“I booked this unit because of the reviews but let me go ahead and break it down. The location is definitely not the best. Although the house was clean there were some things that could not be avoided or looked over. Number one when you walk in the house it smells very much like old wet wood, there is no couch just a two seater chair so if you plan on relaxing in the living room to watch a movie that’s not happening. The master bedroom‘s bed the legs underneath the bed were broken and bent I sunk...

“The house was clean, comfortable, secure and located in a convenientplace for our travel purposes. The kitchen was stocked with basic cooking supplies & utensils. Carla, the host, was quick to respond and accommodating. The pool and patio was tidy and refreshing when the weather got warm.”

Overall, it was a convenient and comfortable stay, and we’d be happy to stay here again.”

“We were looking for a place to stay for a month in Bakersfield. We wanted something family friendly that we could bring our grandkids to and not worry about damaging anything. This little house was perfect. It was comfortable without being trashed and have a very family feel all the way to the bath toys for kids and great backyard. It really felt like a home.We have stayed at house and condos through VRBO quite a few times in several states and this was by far the best experience.”

“The place was as pictured. Wasn’t as clean as I would like, there was dried spilled red something on baseboards, used soiled sponges to wash dishes. No washcloths. No plug in lights no mirror or clocks except bathroom. Pigeon poop everywhere outside and crickets. The beds were comfortable and the host provided coffee and some snacks, that was thoughtful also provided condiments in fridge.”
