Built in 2019, this modern retreat offers exceptional comfort and convenience just minutes from downtown Telluride, the ski lifts, and mountain trails.

Set along the “forever wild” Valley Floor, guests can enjoy year-round views of wildlife such as elk, hawks, and coyotes right from the home. The area offers scenic hiking and biking trails, stand-up paddleboarding on the river, and groomed cross-country ski tracks in winter. Downtown Telluride is less than a five-minute drive or an easy ten-minute ride along the paved bike path. The home is also conveniently located on the free Galloping Goose shuttle route.

Property Overview

Basecamp at Valley Floor is a four-level home designed for both comfort and connection.

Guests enter through a spacious mudroom with ample storage for outerwear and gear. On the main level, an open concept living, dining, and kitchen area provides the perfect setting for gathering. The kitchen features premium Wolf and KitchenAid appliances, a combined full pot/individual pods coffee maker, and a full range of high-quality cookware and Williams-Sonoma dinnerware. The large dining table seats up to twelve guests, with additional seating at the kitchen island.

A large terrace off the main level offers comfortable lounge seating, a BBQ grill, and panoramic mountain views — ideal for outdoor dining and relaxation. The inviting living area includes a flat-screen TV cleverly concealed behind artwork and a cozy atmosphere for unwinding after a day in the mountains.

The Basecamp at Valley Floor is a private home located in a residential neighborhood, just a few minutes to downtown Telluride. The neighborhood mainly have local families residing in it. It is one of the most sought-after areas in Telluride thanks to its location overlooking the Valley Floor. Few places in Telluride offers the pristine views of this home overlooking the `forever wild` Valley Floor, mountains and wildlife.

There is free street parking outside the home, which can fit up to 3 vehicles. This home is only a few minutes drive to Telluride, including skiing and dining. You can also take the free town shuttle into town or ride a bike along the bike path, which is accessed close by. There is plenty of hiking and biking trails close to the home you can access by foot or bike.

This home features towels and linens at 5-star hotel luxury quality throughout and consist of 100% organic Turkish cotton from Front Gate`s Resort Collection. All linens are at least 400+ thread count Legends Hotel collection Supima cotton sateen.

This home is the perfect place for a family or friends who want all the conveniences of Telluride, yet want to be close to nature and enjoy the peace and quiet. It`s not uncommon to hear the elk and coyotes talking at night!

A more comprehensive rental agreement will be sent to you to sign prior to arrival. By booking this home you agree to comply with the agreement as well as applicable house rules.

Rental Period & Check-In. The home will be ready for Guest’s occupancy beginning at 4pm on the Arrival Date and the Property must be vacated by 10am on the Departure Date, unless otherwise agreed by Vacation Rental Agency.

Keys & Access Codes. Vacation Rental Agency will provide Guest with a unique key, which will unlock the front door to the home.

Rental Rules & Restrictions.
The home has a private hot tub available for Guest use. It is the responsibility of the Guest to properly care for the hot tub during the stay including making sure the hot tub cover is securely closed when not in use and make sure all members of the rental party follow common safety and health advisory rules surrounding the use of hot tubs.

This home is in a primarily residential area. As a courtesy to other neighbors, we ask guests to respect quiet hours of 9pm-6am.

Please note that Telluride is in an ever-changing area, and we cannot always control or anticipate nearby construction. Therefore, no refunds or compensation will be offered for any nearby construction or other noise.

Telluride is in a mountain resort town. As such, internet service can sometimes be spotty. Although this home offers free wifi internet, it cannot be guaranteed for your stay. Free street parking is available outside the home. Please be mindful to leave enough room for our neighbors and only park on the right side of the road, along the driveway of the home. No refunds or compensation will be offered for lack or loss of internet service.

Cancellation. Vacation Rental Agency enforces the following cancellation policy of the home;

Payment policy;
50% due at time of booking. Remaining balance due 60 days before arrival.

Cancellation policy;
50% refund up to 60 days prior to arrival. No refund if cancelled inside 60 days prior to arrival.

No refunds will be made for shortened stays, no matter the reason.

We strongly encourage all Guests to acquire travel insurance to protect their vacation investment.

I give permission to the property manager to use a third-party to screen my identity and check criminal databases to confirm my reservation. Complete terms regarding the guest screening can be provided by the property manager. You may receive an email to complete your screening. Please check your spam inbox for this email and contact the property manager if you have any questions.

Cleaning. A cleaning fee of ___$300_______ has been included in the total charges to the Guest. Daily housekeeping services are not included in the rental rate. Throughout the rental period, Guest will be responsible for keeping the home clean and in good condition.

This home has a max occupancy of 5 guests, including children.
The minimum age for check in is 25 years old.
This home is non-smoking in all areas and no pets are allowed.
