The accommodations were excellent. I highly recommend this place. The layout is excellent for both smaller and larger parties. The cabin was very clean and the utilities are great (washer, dryer, kitchen appliances, hot tub, tv areas, fireplace, etc... Beautiful landscape. Bring your own speaker for music, otherwise everything is there. Thank you.

Beautiful home in the woods

The house was fantastic. This was the first time in a long time we had our whole family together and the house was laid out perfect to get everyone together. Love the large open family area with the open kitchen. We had plenty of beds for everyone and all were very comfy. We were only about 5 minutes from the slopes and had no issues. The homeowner was very responsive to questions and we get blessed that they chose to share their home with us. We would definitely stay here again.

Even more magical than the listing!

We didn’t want to leave! This light filled home is beautiful and its setting is stunning. During our stay in Feb we looked out the A-frame two story windows to enjoy views of the mountains and the Aspen trees, and sunsets in the evenings. Our families enjoyed cooking meals on the large island while the kids gathered in the adjacent family room with a fireplace and amazing views. The kitchen was well appointed with cooking necessities, pantry items and clean, new appliances. We loved having two washers and dryers for our group as well! The beds were very comfortable (we loved the sheets!) and there were robes in each of the closets which was a nice surprise. There are blackout curtains for sleeping too. The tile floors are heated throughout, keeping us cozy. Mountain Village - the biggest ski base - is just down the road from this beautiful home and very convenient. Our host messaged us on the evening we arrived just to check that we got there safely and to see if we needed anything, which was very kind. We felt lucky to be staying in this wonderful home. We loved our vacation and look forward to returning!!

Lifetime Memory

Brought our 3 adult children and significant others. House is in a very convenient location for not being ski in/out. I was concerned about NOT being on ski hill, but the setting and privacy made for an exceptionally enjoyable environment while still very close to whatever we needed. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, beds/linens all very nice. Furniture/furnishings of good quality. Cindy was extremely responsive leading up to trip and with the couple questions we had once we arrived. Lots of space/privacy, would absolutely recommend to groups with kids or older. It was an incredible week and the home was a huge part of our amazing vacation. And yes, in winter, recommend a 4 wheel drive. Road up to property can be tricky and then driveway slopes down to home. Do VRBO's 2-3x/yr and this property overall is right up at the top of all we have stayed at.

Beautiful home

This ia true VRBO gem. The house is authentic, elegant and rustic all at the same time. A herd of elk bedded down below the balcony one night and we opened the windows to hear them bugling. We will definitely be visiting again. Thanks Cindy!

Amazing Mountain Stay

Perfect Setting

We chose this cabin for a ski reunion of four old friends. The cabin fulfilled the fantasy of a western ranch lodge with great log walls and rafters and antlers everywhere. The cabin is nicely secluded and rooms are full of light. The kitchen is well stocked and we had some terrific meals there. There is a lot of room to spread out and the hot tub was great after a day of skiing. Really a great spot, we felt lucky to be there.

Great property, with great location in the ski ranches. Plenty of space for our large group and easy access to Mt. Village or downtown Telluride. 4 wheel drive is a must in the winter.

Feels Remote yet close to everything!

This was the perfect house for us! Family and extended family along with our best friend couple and everyone had room to themselves when they needed it yet we could all easily gather in the kitchen area and hang out. The hot tub was for 4 or less people for sure but was enjoyable especially when it snowed while we were enjoying it. Two sets of washer/dryers was nice. Sleds were in the house and we enjoyed sledding in the back yard! The beds were cozy and plenty of warm blankets. The loft was cozy too! Living room couch while it looks leather and not comfortable was quite the contrary. House is only 8-10 min from Mountain Village and 15 min to downtown Telluride in Winter. I can't say enough about the property we loved it and would return again when we come back to Telluride!

Great house

We had a great time and the house was awesome for my kids and extended family. Beautiful property, only 10 min away from skiing. The owner mentions needing 4WD in the description, and I would definitely recommend that in the winter if there is any new snow, as the drive is quite steep. We loved our stay.

Wonderful stay for families!

This cabin was absolutely beautiful, functional, and comfortable. Truly one of the best VRBOs we've stayed into! Its layout was so well thought out, so many spots where different family members can hang out. All bedrooms were very well appointed, very comfortable bedding, very nice bathrooms. Beautiful deck areas, and so nice to sit in the hot tub after skiing. Plenty of room to store our ski gear. Kitchen was fantastic, very well stocked with spices, etc. The location is great, Ski Ranches is such a gorgeous neighborhood and we love how secluded it feels there, tucked away in the woods. We will definitely visit again!

Excellent cabin, great location

We loved this VRBO! We were very comfortable in this cabin and it was clean and well stocked. It felt secluded, yet it is very close to town and village station parking/gondola. Would definitely book again for our next telluride trip!

New Year celebration with family

The property is very nice and very clean. Excellent views, very cozy and comfortable, ... very comfortable matresses - the floors were heated....LOVED IT? I loved everything about it BUT the roads may be icy, you must have a 4x4 in my opinion. The shuttle will not take you to the market, or anywhere ..... when we walked- IN-cheked in and saw the Christmas tree there and the house was still decorated for Christmas - it was a such pleasant surprise, and the Christmas tree was gorgeous! Everything in the cabin is quality! Yes a big A+

Very nice

Beautiful home. Had everything we needed. Backyard deck was wonderful to sit and watch the golden Aspens. Layout was great as well, and we never felt cramped. Nice furniture and well constructed log home, felt like it should in the mountains. We have stayed at many VRBO homes over the past 20 years and this was one of the best.
