  • Welcome to Lulu City, an AvantStay home!

    Across the street from the base of Lift #7 and a 10-minute walk from downtown, this three-bedroom, two-bathroom condo is a great value.

    Enter the condo from an interior stairwell at ground level using the door labeled 5BL. Directly to your right when you walk through the door is a shared bathroom with a shower/tub combination and granite countertops. Across the hall from the bathroom, you'll find the second bedroom with a queen bed.

    Upstairs, the living room features a small flat-screen TV with Roku and DVD, a CD stereo with iPod dock, a queen sofa-sleeper, and scenic views west across the Valley Floor and north toward the ridge. Open to the living area is a dining space that seats seven, along with a full kitchen offering granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a convenient walk-through layout. The internet modem and Wi-Fi router are located by the phone in the kitchen. This level also includes the primary bedroom with a king bed and an ensuite bathroom featuring a jetted tub and a separate steam shower, which is also accessible from the hall, as well as a third bedroom with a queen bed and a writing desk.

    Ski lockers are located indoors on the ground level. Being located just across Pacific Avenue and the San Miguel River from the base of Lift #7, ski access is a short walk away. The historic downtown is accessible by a 10-minute walk or by a free in-town shuttle, which stops just outside. There is also a shared complex gas grill and fire pit located in the pool area behind the complex.

    Local Attractions: Telluride Mountain Village Gondola, Bear Creek Falls, Telluride Main Street, Black Bear Pass, Telluride Ski Resort, Telluride Historical Museum.

    - There is no A/C at this property.
    - Please note that the pool, hot tub, and grill area are not open year-round. These amenities are closed during the off-season months of April, May, October, and November.
    - This home features a sleeper sofa.
    - Telluride experiences "off-seasons" in the spring and fall. Many services are not available to travelers. Please check activities/restaurants/home amenities, etc., when booking these dates.
    - Please note, as a ski town, many construction projects happen around town all summer. Working hours are 8 am-7 pm.

    Parking Details:
    Street parking for one vehicle is provided near the condo. Once checked in, you will be registered for a street parking pass.

    A pack n' play travel crib and a high chair are available upon request.

    This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

    As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

    Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

    There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

    As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

    IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

Great location and condo, listing needs updating

We stayed here while skiing and riding at Telluride. The condo was great, very clean and had everything we needed. Also a great location about 0.1 mile walk to Lift 7 and 0.5 mile from the gondola. The only issue was that the listing did not accurately depict the hot tub. There was an in ground hot tub that is a subsection of the pool, but the pictures in the listing do not look anything like the actual tub. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend.

First trip to telluride

We travelled to telluride for our nieces wedding. We were so pleased to see how convenient this property was to transportation to the gondola ( wedding was at Allfreds) And how easy it was to get into town or over to mountain village. We weren’t planning to ski but once we saw how easy it was to get to rentals and the lifts from the unit we took a day to enjoy it he slopes. This was a perfect location to enjoy all of both telluride and mountain village had to offer by just walking to the corner and getting on the Galloping Goose. The unit was well maintained and we loved the heating unit by the coat and boot area.

Clean with huge parking issues.

Parking is the only drawback. Place is nothing fancy, but clean. Drove around for hours looking for an authorized place to park. Had to unload in front of unit, then , proceeded to circle blocks looking for parking. Huge glitch. Especially if you are traveling with young kids. Thankfully, We were not . It's an extreme vertical place. Many many stairs.

Nice clean comfy place for family of 7

Overall the condo worked out well for us, 4 adults and 3 young children. Everything in the condo was clean and in good shape except for a few items we noted to owners. We had no problem parking one car right out front. However, I don’t think it was a very busy week in town. We parked a second car in the gondola parking for $30 all day and night. Clark’s groceries is just 2 blocks away and has a very large selection. We chose to drive to the Mountain Village each morning to ski (10 minute drive). We parked in the Heritage Parking Garage ($5 hour) because it easier with 3 kids and all their gear. We all change and gear up inside the heated garage. We did take the Village Gondola a few times (15-20 minute walk) but not to ski. We also used the free town loop bus that stops at the corner. The map showing stops and times is online. We found that eating in the condo or in Mountain Village was easier than in Telluride. The restaurants in town are busy and limited especially for a family.

The condo was the right size and great location; 3 minute walk to lift 7 and close to a lot of restaurants. Only con was thin walls. Highly recommended.

Disappointed

We stayed in a different unit in March and it was fantastic - elegant, beautiful! This one was like a rundown hotel. There were NO basic kitchen staples - not even salt and pepper. There were no plastic glasses to take to the pool. The windows wouldn't properly close. There were holes in the wall in the family room. The construction noise was terrible - both inside our stairwell and across the street. The garage door was too broken and too heavy to lift on my own. I'll be very careful if I choose to book at Lulu City again.
