I rent a lot from VRBO and have never left a negative review. My son is disabled, and we go to the Telluride Adaptive Sports Program often (TASP is awesome). We rent places in close proximity to the TASP office in Mountain Village. I rented this unit ski trip with my sons. Less than 2 days before the trip I was texted that there would be no washer or dryer available for our stay. That does not work for a 10-day ski trip where we wash almost every day. It was too late notice to find another location, but they said they would handle all our laundry needs. When I got there, it took me 3 days of emailing, texting, and calling to get someone. The phone numbers are call centers and the texts are automated. I finally got someone to pick up on the 4th day. They returned it fine. They came again 2 days later but lost our clothes for a day. They did not return texts or calls. A neighbor found them. I needed the service again and they said they could not handle it. So, we had to go out and buy new clothes. In addition, the built-in humidifier in the downstairs bedroom closet leaks onto the clothes, which is a problem with no dryer. The fireplace never worked. They said they would fix it but did not. The downstairs toilet runs constantly. The handle to the balcony falls off locking people on the balcony. The smoke alarm in the neighboring unit went off for 3 days until the owners showed up.There are too many better places in Mountain Village to deal with this and the poor management.
