  • People are often looking for different amenities to enjoy their vacation. Sometimes they want to bring their dog, sometimes they want to enjoy the indulgence of a large main suite, sometimes they want enough space after an adventurous day in the mountains to gather their group together and enjoy a nutritious meal in their well-equipped kitchen, and other times they want to gaze out the window to be greeted with uninterrupted, majestic mountain views. Regardless of what you may be looking for on this Telluride vacation, it's likely that Double Eagle Way 102 has it.

    This single-family home is dog-friendly with a spacious, open concept living area. It has a massive fireplace which can be enjoyed from either the living or dining room, a wet bar, vaulted ceilings, exposed wooden beams, and a deluxe kitchen with a large island, with breakfast bar seating for four, stainless steel appliances, and an indoor grill. If you would prefer to step away from the living area, you can always retreat to the large main suite with a gas fireplace, en suite bathroom, and access to a deck from which you can enjoy the impeccable mountain views. So, gather your group of 10 and come enjoy this lovely space in Mountain Village, because this may be the perfect place for your next vacation.

Was a lovely place to stay and we absolutely loved the kitchen and used it every night!! A great house and family room to spend time with family/friends!! Us Texas folks loved it!

Incredible for Telluride Spring Ski Trip!

This home was perfect for our spring Telluride ski trip! It had stunning views, was big and cozy, and a 5 minute drive from village core to access the lifts or get on the gondolas! Being able to bring the dogs along was a highlight! Would love to stay here again. *we stayed for a hosted partnered stay with Vacasa but opinions are my own*

The good - simple transportation to the slopes. Large house to fit our family. The bad - where to start? Wrong internet instructions wasting over an hour of our time when checking in; pet fur on the carpet and clearly not well prepared/cleaned as our family - who have dogs - couldn’t stay comfortably in the home due to horrible allergies; perhaps a cat was allowed in? Ran out of basic supplies like toilet paper and garbage bags. Two house showings while we were staying there. Driveway and sidewalks not shoveled so they were packed with melted ice and snow, so much so that our parked SUV literally slide down the driveway into the street. There were tampons and small trash frozen into the end of the driveway. We were very bummed that what should have been a great place based on location and price was so disappointing.

Family Time in Telluride.

The home is fabulous and very well appointed. There is one small bedroom and bathroom downstairs the remaining spacious bedrooms are upstairs. There is a small sitting area outside that we enjoyed. Beautiful home! it was absolutely perfect for our group! Very comfortable and spacious. Incredible views!!

Top of the line!

I stay in Mountain village a few times every year and this house turned out to be one of my favorites. Very comfortable, impeccably clean, and very well appointed. I really hope to visit again! Accidentally locked myself out one afternoon and although VACASA's overseas helpline is totally useless, the local rep was fantastic and helpful as soon as I was able to convince them to connect us. Thank you!

A great place to stay for 6 adults skiing telluride

This is a big house about 1 mile from the grocery store and parking for Telluride chair 10 and gondola. House was consistently the perfect temperature inside even though the outside temperature was negative or low single digits. Kitchen is big enough for multiple adults to cook and prepare food simultaneously. Lots of community space in the dining room and living room. Communication with the host was excellent. Highly recommend!

Excellent pet-friendly home near Telluride

This home was even better than the pictures showed it to be! Very large and comfortable for the 8 of us and our dog! Beautiful location on the golf course in Mountain Village, a short drive to the gondolas that go to the Market and to Telluride. Liked the complimentary dial-a-ride shuttle service offered to residents of Mountain Village. The house was very clean and spacious with gorgeous views all around. Note: while the house is pet-friendly, there is no yard at all, so dogs must be taken out on a leash to potty. And, the house sits on a fairly busy street so we were very cautious not to let the dog slip out. We had no problems, but future renters might want to know this.

Misleading VRBO listing

Misleading VRBO listing displayed pictures of property during winter months only when no leaves are present on the trees with mountains visible. Non winter months have trees in front of the house completely obscuring visualization of the mountains from all windows. Also, house is located next to a busy access street and since there is no air conditioning, it’s necessary to open the windows which allows traffic noise present due the day. VRBO also didn’t list the fact that the house is listed for sale and we had a request to vacate the house so that the realtor could show to prospective buyers. All of these issues should have been provided on the rental listing so that we could make a decision based on current conditions of the property. We will not rent this property again and more completely scrutinize VRBO before using them again.

Family spring break trip

So this is the 2nd yesar weve stayed at this house and more than likely the last,Last year oven and main fireplace didn’t work. This year is was way worse. We ahow up to the garbage cams overfilled amd trash all over driveway driveway is mostly blocked from snow. No toilet paper in house in kleenexs.A note telling us the oven is broke, the diahwasher doesn't drain properly,. Microwave works 50/50. Master tv not working, they finally got master tv working with 2 nights left to stay. Master fireplace nit working. Host came 2nd day to fix that. Beautiful home but worn out. 2 chairs at dining room table still broke from last year. Ive requested some aort of compensation and atill waiting to get response. House smells old and not fresh

Nice girls weekend

The house is nice and close to mountain village. The free shuttle made it even better. We had a hot water issue that ended up getting resolved. While the house is fully stocked with spices, etc it doesn’t have some amenities that you would think it should have for the price point -Items like a Bluetooth speaker to play music or usb plugs to charge your electronics. The house is big and worked for our purposes.

Family friendly

Mountain village is absolutely beautiful. This house worked well for our family gathering. It is right on the golf course if that’s your thing. Great views from upstairs. Dog friendly! But doesn’t not have a fenced backyard as advertised.
