The location of this stay was exactly what we were looking for- quiet and peaceful but with plenty to keep us entertained. We especially enjoyed the access to a golf cart, the nearby playground, and the beautiful views. We travelled here with our 2.5yo and 2mo baby. The layout of the home was not ideal for having kids of this age but would be great for slightly older kiddos with the bunk room, etc. The split level made us further from our 2.5yo than we’d prefer but we made it work so we weren’t waking him while tending to the baby at night. Also, as the home is pet friendly, it was not the cleanest. I didn’t feel comfortable putting my baby on the floor with the dirt and dog hair. It did not seem to have been vacuumed when we arrived but Skip was very responsive and allowed us access to the vacuum to use while we were there, which was helpful since we stayed for 2 full weeks. The antique decor with nods to the area was a fun touch, but again not super toddler friendly, something I had not considered before booking. Overall we very much enjoyed our time here and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others traveling without kids or those with kids a little older than ours.
