A quiet peaceful Retreat

The property is situated in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by tall trees and just a few steps to the water's edge. It's a very picturesque setting. The house is very well set up, appointed and maintained. Furniture and beds are very comfortable!The hosts respond quickly to any questions and truly put themselves in the renter's shoes. They even provide wood for the super nice fire pit! They just make the property so very usable and stress free. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Outstanding lake experience

Had a wonderful time staying at this property. The house is clean and well stocked and maintained. Couldn’t ask more from Jon and Sonya the host. We are looking to book for a week next year. Excellent location on lake Water is shallow in the cove however the swimming and kayaking were great and we had no problems with getting my son in laws bass boat to and from the dock. About 4’ of water by dock. 10/10

Amazing Lake Property

What an amazing property on the lake! We brought three generations of folks plus our boat and it couldn’t have been better. The fire pit by the lake was magical at night and the fireplace in the screened in porch was amazing for morning coffee. The beds were so comfortable and we had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare yummy meals. We hope to come back again!

Went as expected

I spent a good bit of time researching to find the perfect get away for our house church group of 6 couples and the Watts Bar Lake House did not disappoint. The house itself had enough room and was well stocked with everything you’d need. Everyone that slept upstairs said the beds were very comfortable, and the property outdoors was amazing from the fire pit to the kayaking on the water. The neighbor came over and welcomed us and was super nice which I’ve never experienced at a vrbo. Our host Jon was perfect. He was right on the other end of a text when if we needed him but otherwise left us alone. Big props to Jon and whoever else is involved in managing this property. We WILL return.

Endless waterfront fun for all ages

Our stay was a family of 11, 2 grandparents, 4 adult children, and 5 grandbabies ages 7-2 and we had a wonderful time! The fall pictures don’t do the waterfront justice. They have large stairs to walk right into the lake. It’s about 2.5-3 ft deep, muddy weedy bottom. We would recommend water shoes. But the kids played in the water from 10am until after dinner. We could fish right of the dock and caught plenty of bluegills and a couple catfish. There were 2 kayaks for our use, which was a big hit. The screen porch was the place to be all weekend. The kids really enjoyed the upper deck with the porch swings. Beds were comfortable. Showers were great. Nice and hot and good pressure. There is a neighborhood dog that roams around the property which could scare people that aren’t used to dogs, but he was a big ole sweetie. The neighbors are really close together so if you are looking for seclusion, this wouldn’t be the property for you since the neighbors are very friendly. But I can say our family would absolutely book again. The marina is only 5 minutes away to rent a pontoon boat too. Thanks, Jon and Sonya! We will be back

Spring Break

It was such a relaxing time on the lake with family. The screened porch and fireplace were perfect. There was plenty of room for all of us and it had everything we needed. We will be back!
