Beautiful Lakefront Cabin with Unique Multi-Level Boat Dock Now With WiFi

  • This lovely Cape Cod style home has 4 bedrooms: Main floor bedroom with queen size bed, 2 upstairs bedrooms with 2 full beds in each, and 1 upstairs with bunk bed, daybed, and a twin bed. there are 2 bathrooms, 1 on each level. Downstairs is a family room with fireplace and large flat screen tv, sunroom, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen with 2 refridgeraters. There is a den on second floor. Outside you will find a covered porch with ceiling fans and a brick patio with a charcoal and a top of the line gas grill.
    The yard is very large and level to the water where you will find a one of a kind dock with a screened and covered second level. It is a great place to beat the heat under the ceiling fans, with a lovely view of the lake.

Family vacation

4 generations on vacation requires a variety of interests. There was plenty to occupy all of us. The weather was great and the location was perfect for all.

Fantastic Stay

For a group of fishermen, this home is outstanding for a location on Watts Bar Lake. The property manager is fantastic to deal with and all necessities are on-site to make your stay enjoyable. Thank you for another great year!

Great vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. House was very well stocked. Enjoyed multiple dinners on the screened in deck. Dock was under water when we arrived on Saturday but was able to use it by Sunday afternoon. Great protected cove too.

Labor Day Holiday

place is awesome ! Very well stocked ! Faye is very cordial . On Sunday , my aunt who is 95 came over for lunch and we had 25 family members come over to visit. The place was perfect for that.

Convenient to Lake, Restaurants

Second time have stayed at this property. Ideal for going to the Sand Bar and Euchee marina. Property flat, lots of squirrels. Most of the beds comfortable there are 9 total. Had a great time weather was not the greatest for boating but did make it out on the lake every day

Wonderful Stay on Watts Bar Lake

Once again, we had a wonderful time at Maroon's cabin on Watts Bar. My children look forward to our stay every year. Faye is wonderful to work with. The cabin is clean. The lake is beautiful. The cabin in on a protected cove. We have made this our annual vacation. Thanks, Faye!!

Good for a group of friends, with plenty of beds and good gathering spaces both indoors and outdoors. Lake is peaceful in October.

Family Lake trip

We had a great family trip to the lake with our kids and grandkids. House is in a great quiet location with easy access to the water for all ages .

Wonderful time and Wonderful property

The property at Ten Mile was wonderful. This property had the most amenities of any property I've stayed at. Although you could sleep 10 or more we only had 8 people. Plenty of beds, plenty of space. The yard is so nice and easily can walk down to the dock. Dollar General and Gas station really close to pick up items. We ate at Gus's the food was very good. We loved being so close to the Sand Bar and Euchee Grill. Rained one day so we took the kids to Lost Sea Caverns then ate at Sweetwater. WE love the Watts Bar lake area, had always stayed on the Spring City side; but enjoyed the other side and will definitely come back to this property.

Great Fishing Home

My large group really enjoyed the home and its location on the lake. Had all the cooking items needed and plenty of space. The dock was outstanding to hold our five boat group. Lastly, the property manager was a delight to deal with. Thank you and we will see you again next year.

Nice place

We had a great time. Good value. Nice location for a quick trip to swim at Sand Island. 2 minutes to Dollar General and several restaurants close by. The dock with screen in porch and sun deck was great.

Peaceful retreat

Main plus points about this house is it sleeps a ton! So many beds and so much space! We are not bird watchers but sitting out on the patio in the morning, the wild life is all around. Comerans, turkey vultures, beautiful redheaded woodpeckers, hummingbirds, etc. The dock has an upper screened in dining-room. We had two dinners up there. The view was more beautiful up there than expected! Went up at night and turned on lights and played games too! Really enjoyed that. Water is very shallow and weedy by dock but boat was fine. I swam out there one evening and water was 88 degrees! Camp ground around the corner allowed us to use his boat ramp after calling for permission. Makes things so nice! Tv reception was perfect and all access. Hulu, Netflix etc if u hav a subscription. Short drive to Euchee by boat or car. All in all great house for many. If i had to make a suggestion it wld be to have some Kayaks to play with and explore! Thanks for the week, we enjoyed it!!

Private Cabin

We had a great time at this rental. The location was very low key and private. Faye had advised us before we arrived that the grill was broken and she replaced it the following day. The water down by the dock is very shallow and loaded with seaweed, therefore unable to swim, but we had rented a boat for the week and were able to take it out further in the lake to swim. The fishing was good and the sunsets were better!

Relaxing and enjoyable location

Our families and a great week on the lake. Great location, great house and a great host. Thank you very much Faye, for sharing your home with us. It has everything you need. The covered dock and the back patio were our favorite locations when not out enjoying the lake. Thanks again for a great week!

Nice quiet cove

Loved the double deck dock at this lakehouse! We had a great time on our summer vacation here. Plenty of room to spread out both in and out of the house. Great shaded, flat yard out to the lake was perfect for a swing in a hammock (we brought our own) and nighttime games of Ghost in the Graveyard. Also saw some cool birds in the yard. Lake is very shallow for several yards out from the dock - no diving or jumping off the dock but easy for young kids to stand/play in. We brought our own kayaks and access to the lake was easy from this dock. Bring your own pool floats, rafts, etc. Books, board games, cards, puzzles all available in the house. No foosball table in the one bedroom as pictured in the photos. Tap water is fine to drink here - no bottled water needed. The water pipes in the home are quite loud when using the sinks, which might be an issue if you have a mix of night owls and early risers. Other than that, the accommodations were great. Well stocked kitchen, and nice living room, dining room and bedrooms as well as plenty of outdoor relaxing spaces. Queen bed on the first floor was very comfortable. Happy with our choice to stay here! Thank you for everything!

Not as advertised

The pictures of the house were likely taken years ago, as this house/property are not well maintained. Bathtub (needed for toddler) didn't work, pipes were LOUD (made noise all day and night) and there were cobb webs all over the house (indoor and out as well as in the covered patio on the dock), just to name a few issues inside. Our kids were REALLY looking forward to the "kid room" with tv, bunk beds and foosball table - it's no longer in the house! There is 1 room with 4 twin beds, but that's it. Kids were SUPER disappointed! The outside space is why we picked this house and it needed major attention! Again, not well maintained! We were really disappointed in with the condition of the dock, patios, and outside space in general. There is trim falling off the house, the outside furniture was dirty, the brick patio was problematic and not level, and the firepit was not useable. It was not the beautiful lake front home / outside experience we were expecting based on pictures. Also, house is located behind a large trailer park and camp ground. It's not in an ideal location for letting kids play. We made the best of it, but NOT what we expected nor worth the daily rate.
