Lovely house and great base to explore mid-coast

This house is really lovely - super clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. The pool at the house is a great bonus, and the house is close to lots of other activities - beaches, boat trips, hiking, and restaurants. We had a really relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Paradise

We have been coming to this area to visit friends each year. This was our first time renting for our own family and it was better than expected. The property was absolutely beautiful and the home was perfect for the whole family. Thank you for an amazing experience. We can’t wait to come back!,

A perfect Maine getaway!

We had a wonderful time exploring Mid-Coast Maine! The house was fantastic and perfect for relaxing. The whole family enjoyed the pool and yard. The lobster boat trip was awesome and we would highly recommend!

The perfect home for our getaway

We had such a wonderful time staying at this house! It was well-stocked and had everything we needed. The communication with the hosts was excellent and they were very helpful. The house was in a great location for us and the kids especially enjoyed the pool. We look forward to returning in the future!

Amazing getaway

We just got back from staying at the Polky house for a week. I can't stress how much we enjoyed it. The house was perfect and secluded but had tons to do nearby. Bobby Jo was so friendly and helpful. He even brought us lobster that he pulled from the ocean just hours before! We were a group of 7 adults (family and friends) in our 30's, looking for a week to destress and actually relax. This was the perfect spot for that. We will definitely be returning. Thank you guys so much!

Felt like home

This felt like home away from home. This was my first time trying VRBO and I have heard horror stories, but my experience was wonderful. The home was clean, open enough to all be together while also allowing us to each have space. The hosts are just next door and are happy to help with anything: recommendations on where to go, want to purchase lobster, run out of gas for the grill they will take care of it. We were a group of 6 adults (2 couples and 2 singles) along with 2 little boys (5 and 2). The boys loved the yard they could run around in and the pool they could splash in. The adults enjoyed the deck right off the kitchen dining room. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Midcoast Getaway!

The house was extremely clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was very well stocked. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed grilling and dining on the deck. Stargazing on the deck was A+. Another highlight was ordering lobster from Bobby-Joe. Nothing beats feasting on freshly caught lobster with friends. The hosts were terrific and so was the location if you’re looking to explore the area. Highly recommend!

Gem of a property!

We were so incredibly lucky to snag a few nights at this lovely home! We initially chose it because it was big enough for our large family and close to a lot of towns and attractions we wanted to explore. The house was so cozy and comfy we ended up spending most of our time swimming, playing games, and relaxing instead. A perfect end to a long road trip! Our hosts were amazing, and had obviously worked hard creating a beautiful space with their guests’ comfort and needs in mind. They were available for questions and advice/travel tips, and were incredibly kind! We would love to come back to the area and stay again - we didn’t want to leave to go home on our last day!

Lovely vacation

We had a wonderful time. Our hosts were kind and welcoming and helpful and the house was very well appointed and lovely. It felt generous and gracious. My son loved swimming in the pool, and the location is convenient for all the joys of mid-coast Maine. We hope to return next summer.

Charming coastal New England farmhouse

We truly enjoyed our stay. The farmhouse was charming, tastefully decorated and offered everything we needed for our stay. Little treats to welcome us after a long drive was appreciated. The offer of lobster was a pleasant surprise that our teens loved. The settiis beautiful. A short walk to the quarry behind the house revealed a lovely watering hole. We explored the entire area and it is well situated for day trips. We hope to return in the summer!
