Considering we are charged a cleaning fee it was very disappointing. The bedding appeared clean although no top sheets on the bunks. “Nice sized rooms and good facilities and utensils, however the place was a bit shoddy and looks far better in the photos than real life. Standards of cleaning were also not what I would expect. Imagine the house would be very cold in winter. Views were lovely. Walk to town in about 20/30 minutes. ”

“The house is very comfortable and well suited for access to all things Rotarua. They provided loads of towels and many sets of dishes, which was really convenient. The hot tub is super enjoyable, but it does take much longer to fill and heat than described. You also have to rig the plug with weights and a cloth to keep it from leaking out. But once it’s all up and running, it’s so lovely. The major downside was no internet the entire time we were there. WiFi was strong, but the internet was out....
