“Great location and able to ski to slopes with young children. Ski hire and shops within complex. Lockers on same floor making it a lot easier to get ready in the morning. Apartment had everything we needed for the week. Will return.”

“I was there in the final week of the season, with the Residence mostly full, the hotel section closed, and minimal staff (Pierre really was our knight in shining armour), but the experience was still excellent. We were looked after extremely well, and the room, facilities, and pastry deliveries were all first class. Highly recommended!”

“I was really pleased with our choice of Le Chamois D’Or. It is ideally located near the bottom of the magic carpet and Pioneers chair lift and really is ski in/out. The room was spacious and extremely well equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen. We even had a balcony overlooking the piste. “Appartement and location were very good overall. It’s ski in ski on a popular run so that’s great. The checkout procedure really lets the whole experience down and hurried they ask you to remove all bed linen and towels and place them in bags outside of the door on top of cleaning the kitchen and removing rubbish. If the cleaners are changing bed linen they can already remove it. They want you out prior to 10am after all this is done. ”

“Arrivé dans la chambre et se rendre compte que les toilettes non pas été nettoyer avec présence de trace d’urine sur la lunette des toilettes. La vaisselle du restaurant est dans un état épouvantable. Impossible d’avoir un verre propre et je ne vous parle pas de l’état des assiettes. Du coup avec cela l’interrogation nous hante sur l’état d’hygiène de la cuisine.”

“Le studio pour 4 n'est pas pour 4, nous étions 2 et c'était le max. Nous nous attendions à un peu plus de commodité (un seul rouleau de papier hygiénique pour 7 jours, pas de sel et poivre, ...). L'emplacement est excellent, au cœur de Méribel et à quelques pas des pistes. Le personnel à l'accueil est très courtois et répondait à toutes nos questions. Les heures d'ouverture de l'accueil sont à considérer.”

“Extremely nice staff, well positioned, although it's clear that it needed to open immediately although unfinished: Our terrace was a combination of rockwool isolation and water falling down, the garage is filled with rocks and construction dust, the immediate surrounding is filled with dangerous constructies debries like screws and razorsharp tile cuttings. Even next to the outside doors of the pool area. Prices should be lowered until construction is finished”

“The beds are disgusting and wrapped in PLASTIC, the pillows seemed to be picked up from the street. No towels, no wifi, I felt like sleeping at the cheapest motel ever. Fortunately we only stayed one night 🙈🙈 ”

“Terrible. Would not stay here again. Power continuously went out. Extremely loud, could not sleep. Walls are so thin you can hear people outside and in every room. Floors were so dirty. Beds uncomfortable. Front desk does not help at all with any requests. Spend your money somewhere else. ”

“Great location! The ski lockers level takes you directly onto the slopes and is definitely a luxury to start the day. Room was small with two sofa bed type things, keep in mind this is more of a rented apartment than a hotel and you'll be okay. Wouldn't you be out of the room other than to sleep? The kitchenette is also useful because Carrefour is close by and you can save money (eating out is expensive in Val Thorens)”

“Communication for property was fine. Told us codes etc in a SMS message. Upon entering the property the place seemed clean until you saw up close. We were a family of five and the accommodation served its purpose. It was close to the kids ski schools. The bath / shower water was very temperamental. If a kid was left on there own they could have scalded themselves. The electrical outlets needed changing as the adapters did not stay in place. The bed linen was left in packaging for us to...

“Our second time visiting and we have rebooked for a 3rd Nicole was amazing despite some issues with VRBO and the washing machine she was in constant communication. It was great to add linen to our booking this year. The appartment is a good size we are 2 families equalling 10 people. Ski in/ out was still possible even in April Good sized rooms with plenty of views of the slops outside. Nicole added items to the kitchen from our last stay which made things even easier.”

“This is a good sized apartment and is great for 8 people, maybe not so much for 10 but the lounge area is very spacious and the kitchen is spacious and really well equipped, I have never seen over 10 frying pans! The stairs are steep and about 5 stories overall on various levels so not good for anyone not wanting this and is tiring but this is just something to note in your choice. We left our skis etc in the garage on the ground floor. We had 2 cars so one was parked in front of the garage,...
