Superb villa with heated private pool - stunning sea and mountain views- Air con

  • This superb holiday villa (sleeping 6) with pool (not overlooked), is beautifully furnished with marble floors throughout. It has stunning panoramic sea and mountain views and is within a short walk of both Moraira and the sandy cove of El Portet, in our view, the nicest spot on the Costa Blanca. The villa is tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped for family holidays with generous supply of beach equipment, board games, DVDs and local guides. The kitchen is very well equipped. It is about an hour's drive form both Alicante and Valencia Airports. Javea and Denia are close by. Several tennis courts and golf courses are within easy reach.

    The villa has an upstairs master en suite bedroom with attached rooftop terrace- ideal for sundowners and morning coffee and two additional twin bedrooms. Both bathrooms have shower and bath.

    The large terrace is not overlooked and provides a great spot for lounging in the sun. A covered area is ideal for al fresco dining out of the direct sun.

    Strong and superfast WIFI throughout the house and subscription services-Netflix, Disney +, Apple TV, Prime etc (bring your subscription details to log in).

    The private pool can be heated on request for an additional fee in the shoulder and low seasons. Underfloor central heating also available if needed. Solar power provides sustainable electricity for the villa and EV charging.

Fabulous October Half Term Stay

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in Moraira. The Villa served all our needs - a lovely heated pool, al fresco eating, with splendid views - and convenient for both El Portet and Moraira beaches. We were blessed with (for the most part) glorious sunshine and warm temperatures. As fellow VRBO hosts, we appreciated the easy communication with our hosts and their responsiveness - as well as their efforts to maintain the villa to high standards. Thank you!

One of the best villas we have ever stayed in, and the views from the pool terrace were amazing. Everything we needed was there, and we spent most of our time either in the pool, or sat at the table under the covered terrace. The hosts and local agents were brilliant when we had questions and the bedroom air conditioning was a godsend in the July heat. An absolutely wonderful villa !p.s. An easy downhill walk to Moraira (the nicest Spanish town we have ever stayed near) was around 20-25 minutes. The walk back would have been longer (30 mins) because it's uphill (as the kids pointed out, you can't have spectacular views if you're not up a hill!) but we easily got taxis back for 6-8euros after a 5-10 minute wait at the taxi rank, even in the height of tourist season.

Fantastic! The perfect family holiday retreat

This charming villa was fantastically well appointed - everything you could possibly need, and things you hadn't even thought you'd need! The hosts Alex & Chloe are friendly and attentive, providing so much useful information about the area and happy to answer any questions. We felt we were in safe hands right from the moment that we booked. The location of the villa is perfect for families. Close enough to walk into Moraira but in the quiet outskirts of the town - with the most wonderful views / scenery. The pool was fantastic, if a little cool in October! There are so many wonderful beaches so close by, plus lots of great walks and places of interest. There are so many lovely personal touches in this villa, which has been in the same family for some 30 years. Reading the guest books not only gives great tips about places to visit and eat - but also gives a real sense of how much this places means to the family that own it, and the special memories that they, and all their guests have made here. We will definitely be back!

Stunning Views

We had a lovely stay at Villa Esperanza, the views are amazing from the villa, the area is very quiet, we only heard the birds for most of our stay. The kitchen is really well kitted out, pots big enough for a family of five. Beds comfy and wi-fi good. There are supermarkets at the bottom of the hill, a 10mins walk, Aldi opened the day we arrived. The beaches and shops are probably a 25mins walk, lovely bakeries in town. It was 35degrees during our stay, the pool stayed crystal clean throughout our with a 28 degree temperature. We were very pleased to have the air-con. Other reviews have mentioned the hill, you don't get stunning views without a hill! If you leave the villa and walk to the roundabout with the bins you can turn right to go to Aldi or left to go to the beaches and town, the hill is less steep. If you walk straight down you will get to the supermarket at the bottom but the climb is steeper. We had a lovely welcome pack upon our arrival which was just lovely, kept our family of 5 going until the evening. This was really appreciated, best welcome back we have experienced from a Villa owner. Alex the owner was really helpful with questions about the area, very quick response. Mark from the local management company was also lovely, we only saw him when he came to attend to the pool. I would recommend this Villa.

Lovely villa

This was our fourth visit to the Villa, which tells you all you need to know. It is a home from home and we adore it. The pool works a treat for our two girls and the beach is a short walk away. Moraira is a lovely town if you want a low profile holiday with great eating spots, beaches and activities.

Dépaysement Total en Espagne (6Aout - 21 Aout)

Villa très bien placée sur les hauteurs de Moraira (avec une très grande facilité d'accès aux plages et commerces). La voiture nous semble indispensable pour cette location. En pleine crise COVID, nous avons bénéficié d'un calme royal ... Excellente communication avec le propriétaire et ses correspondants sur place. Les points ++ : - vue magnifique (imprenable comme disent les français) - emplacement idéal à 20 min de la plage d'El Portet - Suite parentale au 1er étage avec sa terrasse (gros plus de la location) - Piscine agréable mais relativement profonde (peu adaptée aux très jeunes enfants) Les points -- : - Rien Les points de vigilance : - un réfrigérateur plus grand et plus performant - un peu plus de couverts pour une famille de 5 personnes par exemple. Nous avons passé des vacances dépaysantes dans ce lieu et désormais, toutes nos vacances d'été se passeront en Espagne. Encore merci aux personnes qui se sont désistées... Merci pour tout.

Heerlijk huis met prachtig uitzicht over de bergen en zee

Mooie villa die als perfecte uitvalsbasis gebruikt kan worden om de omgeving te ontdekken. Vlakbij heerlijke stranden. Huis netjes onderhouden en als er iets is dan wordt het direct opgelost en geregeld. Zeker een aanrader!

Superb family holiday

Booking the holiday through Alex was easily and stress free. Every question was answered no matter how silly it was. The pictures do not do it justice, when you step inside the villa there is a wow factor and it was perfect. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The area was so peaceful it was a delight sitting up there in the afternoon taking everything in. The view from the pool area is also very good.The pool is fantastic and the kids thoroughly enjoyed everyday spending time in there. It’s only a short 20 minute walk to el Portet beach, could be quicker but we had a 10 and 6 year old with us. Probably around 25 minutes walk to Moraira town centre. The villa is in a perfect location, walking distance to supermarkets and a food takeout shop which do amazing cooked chicken and pork. I wouldn't think twice about booking this villa again, it’s a must.

Spacious villa and amazing views you will never forget. Owners are very helpful and organised making you very welcome to their villa. Cooking facilities and living amenities are endless which helps. Air con is great along with spacious bedrooms.Lovely family villa that’s created many memories and we can’t wait to return.

Moraira family holiday july 2019

Good sized clean villa with lovely views, a perfect swimming pool, good access to our favourite beach at El Portet and good parking facilities. Air conditioning worked well and the kitchen was well equipped. A very relaxing family holiday for a grown-up family of four.

Lovely villa ideal family holiday

We all had a really enjoyable holiday. The villa is well equipped and homely. Good communication with Alex and we met Netta who looks after the villa and was very friendly. Good location near El Portet and Moraira. Good selection of shops and restaurants in Moraira. Villa pool was well used and enjoyed by our children. We were thankful for the aircon in the bedrooms during the recent heatwave. Temps most days in high 30's. No hesitation in recommending this villa to others!

Wonderful villa in superb location.

My family and I stayed in this lovely villa for 2 weeks in June. We have been coming to Moraira for many years and this is the first one that I will be booking again..next year! The villa is in a great location just minutes from El Portet beach , easily walkable via a short cut and with 2 supermarkets within a couple of minutes. Even though it is so close to the town it was very peaceful and the views are amazing. The villa is very clean and has everything in it you could wish for and everything works! The whole experience has been wonderful and the communication with Alex and Chloe has made it all very easy and all their instructions are spot on and very useful. I would recommend this villa to anyone it really has been the best I've booked for my family, lots of space, amenities, lovely pool area and very well appointed. Can't wait to go again! Lovely villa, in a great location

We spent 7 great days (some sunny/ some rainy) at the villa in the first week of June 18. The villa had a very homely feel to it the moment we arrived, it is situated in a very private location but still within a few minutes drive to the centre of Moraira. (Perfect). You could (if you chose to do so) walk to the centre as it really is close. We have been visiting Moraira for 15 years and have never stayed in the same villa twice as there are so many to choose from, but this villa does have all you need for a price which is not too expensive in a location which is perfect. The pool is clean and a good size, with plenty of room around it to move your sun lounger to get the most from the sun and to BBQ should you wish to do so. My family includes two children (aged 8 & 5) who were able to walk in and out of the villa being perfectly safe as the rear of the villa is completely private and enclosed. Having holidayed in many villas in Moraira previously, this villa is certainly one me and my family would consider returning to as it ticks every box we look for in a villa. Thank you Alex & Chloe for the use of the villa, I also on one of the rainy days enjoyed reading the guestbooks which date back to 2001, thanks again and kind regards from Fraser, Leanne, Penny & Max (the Cook family)

Clean, Quiet, and Spacious.

This was our third visit inside two years and this Villa is perfect for our holiday needs. At our age we tend to prefer a quiet time and like to cook at home rather than eat out. The villa is well equipped for all our needs. The dishwasher is always an added bonus and laundry facilities are perfect if you require to clean your clothes. The villa has an extensive DvD collection and good coverage of uk channels for evening entertainment at home. This year was particularly hot and the pool was a great relief as were the electric fans keeping you cool in the evening. You do require a car really, and the supermarkets are very close by. If you prefer the beach Moraira is only five minutes away by car to the main parking area which is free and a five minute stroll to the beach. This year a children's bouncy castle was set up on the water a few yards out from the beach and proved to be very popular with the youngsters and parents too! This is a lovely area with plenty restaurants and places of interest and a walk round the village is wonderful with plenty shops for the ladies. The villa is situated perfectly on the outskirts in a very quiet and residential area. Wonderful.

Great holiday escape away from the crowds

We love Moraira and have been coming for years. The villa is close enough to town and the beaches to be very convenient (walkable) but is far enough to be completely secluded. Views to die for and very well appointed and tastefully decorated house

Härligt hus på en vacker plats!

Kan verkligen rekommendera både huset och Moraira för en härlig semester! Huset är fint och gediget byggt. Ligger högt och fritt, med utsikt över det vackra, bergiga landskapet. Huset har ett ogenerat läge på en lugn otrafikerad gata. AC i sovrummen, vilket var underbart! Välutrustat kök som har allt du behöver för att kunna laga all mat. Rent och fräscht! Det här var vår första resa till Moraira, och det är verkligen en underbar liten ort! Inga vräkiga hotell, inga strandförsäljare, bra restauranger, roliga små butiker. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka till både detta hus och till Moraira!

Well established beautiful villa

The second visit to this wonderful villa. The villa is very well equipped and very spacious. It lies very near the beautiful village of Moriara. The three bedrooms are ample with plenty of wardrobe space, good kitchen and spacious lounge and dinning room area. There is air conditioning and a fan in the bedrooms and a portable large fan in the lounge. The kitchen has a new self cleaning oven and ceramic hob great fridge and freezer and top notch dishwasher along with all the utensils you will need for self catering. The utility room has an ample washing machine if required and drying facilities outside line. If you cook at home on your holiday then all is well. Plenty of supermarkets within a few minutes and the beach and village of Moriara just five minutes away by car or ten minutes to El Portet. There is enough parking for two cars and a car is really an essential, but taxi if you want to pay for them are plentiful. This is a great Villa to stay in with wonderful views down to Calpe and a beautiful mountain range in the distance. This is a secure and lovely property with good service for cleaning and laundry. First class.

Beautiful villa in a quiet residential area

Firstly, and most importantly, the description provided in Owners Direct is accurate. It is a wonderful villa to rent, the owners give a first class service on information and contact options should you require them. The property was very clean and very well maintained. My wife and I had a wonderful restful holiday at villa Esperanza which is very well equipped for a full family vacation. Although you are in fairly close proximity to other villas there is more than adequate privacy with superb parking as you really need to have a car for getting around.There is little noise if any from street traffic because of the location which has a wonderful view of the mountains over the valley towards Calpe. It is less than 10 minutes into the lovely village of Moraira which has a big car park free of charge. On a Friday, there is a large market set up in the car park but there is alternative parking at the beach on the Calpe road with around a 300 mtr walk to reach the market. Plenty of restaurants in the village with a wide variety of choice on offer. We have been visiting Moraira for a number of years and have exhausted most of the eating out places in the immediate area and we do not like to suggest specific restaurants simply because we all have different ideas as to what is good! There is an exception to this, and for lunch, we would recommend "Casa Toni" on the left hand side of the road heading towards Calpe and only 10 minutes from the villa, wonderful quality and very inexpensive as modern day prices go. Simply explore the area and find out for yourselves there is plenty of amenities on offer and if you do not want to explore too far, there is a superb little beach in Moraira where you can picnic if you have the children, or venture over to Denia on a weekday to an almost deserted beautiful 4k beach for a walk. We now cook most of the time, and the villa has a great kitchen with plenty of utensils even for the aspiring chef, a large area for sunbathing if you do not wish to venture out, and plenty of guides and documents on the area that you are living in. You will struggle to find a better setting in the Moraira area than this villa.Have meals just outside the french doors which lead from the inside dining room. We have contacted the owners and will return to this villa as long as we visit this area. I have rated this place as a 5 star rental with great ease. There can always be improvements of course but this villa needs very little

Lovely villa and great location and beautiful views

We have stayed in a lot of villas in Spain over the last few years but this one had an especially lovely feel to it. It is in a good location near to a wonderful beach which is ideal for children as it is sandy and the sea is very shallow for a long way out. Beautiful turquoise waters. There were six of us altogether including two children who had a wonderful time. The views of the mountains from the terrace are fabulous . I also liked the fact that the pool was close to the villa so we could always see the children. There is also a lovely place to visit called altera. It has cobbled streets and lovely restaurants and shops - very pretty. The owner is extremely helpful and sorted out a new dishwasher and fridge within 24 hours! We would all love to return again and hopefully will.

Charming villa - charming town.

With hindsight it seems our choice of Villa and location were totally vindicated. We prefer a villa in a quiet area but close to beach and evening 'jollies'.....this is that villa. All surrounding resorts should be on your 'to do' list, with Moraira at the top.
