“Wonderful property. Accommodation, food, drink, and service first rate.”

“Nice hotel, walking distance to the blacksmiths and all the gift shops. The room was a little dated but very spacious and clean. I loved the little fireplace heater. The staff was excellent and I enjoyed the breakfast. The only issue I had was the lack of outlets near the bed to charge your phone. I attended a wedding at Gretna and the reception was held here, I really enjoyed the dinner!”

“We had a wonderful overnight 'mother and daughter' stay. Caron is an amazing host and made us feel so welcome. We had a twin room (No 5) towards the top of the house. It was a very spacious room, beautifully decorated and had everything you needed including lovely comfy beds. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean and decorated to a very high standard with some great art work. Caron made us feel at home and spent quite a while chatting with us. The cooked breakfast was first class. We had yogurt...

The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of. They have only owned this hotel for about 6 months and it is obvious they are making huge efforts to update...
