“We only did a overnight stay as travelling, room was a lovely size, big comfy bed which we both had an amazing sleep in, only downfalls were some stains on the laminate flooring, the bathroom lock partially came off when attempting to use, a pack of tissues on the side with the hotel logo on it had something stuck to it which was a yellow in colour so they were put back where they were found. The room could have been cleaned a tad better but on a whole comfy night, helpful staff. The honesty...

The chilled complimentary fruit juice & water was much appreciated after a 400 mile journey! My only issue was that room 4 was right over the outside seating area and I can only imagine that during World Cup season this could prove to be a problem. As it was I did have the creaking stairs (access for all guests) and loud music blasting from the bar below...

“I have stayed a villa many times, unfortunately this visit was disappointing, I arrived after paying 129.96 for 1 night which included breakfast..only to be told that I would have to pay another 10 pound for a cooked breakfast..I was told that I had payed for only a continental breakfast, this certainly didn't state this on my booking form, I was looking forward to quiet afternoon which didn't happen due to all the building work going on, then dinner well the menu wasn't what it used to be, so...

“Attractively restored pub with very comfortable rooms and good food. The staff couldn't be more helpful - we particularly appreciated the fan left on to cool the room ready for our arrival. Lovely walk from the front door to the old docks on the bay a short distance away.”

“Rooms were quiet as accommodation is at the back of the site with woodland behind. There is plenty of parking right outside. Decor is old and tired and it needs a facelift. Breakfast was ok, cooked options were fine and bread and pastries good but fruit and yogurt options very limited. Probably would choose somewhere else to stay if in the area again.”
