“Steve was really friendly and helped us find a nice place for dinner and breakfast. Kindly sorted a parking space on the property as I think it was a quiet night. We loved this unique boutique hotel which has been decorated & designed with care & passion. Local transport was brilliant & Southsea is a hidden blossoming gem which we’ll be back to see next year! “We had a very enjoyable stay at Strattons Hotel. The hotel was one of six I believe. We were just over the road from reception and where the restaurant is located. Very clean room which wasn’t as big as I was expecting but more than adequate for myself and my husband. “Room was not your bog standard decor but was unique, bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large with an excrllet shower. The staff were polite and would acknowledge you even if you were just passing. “Hotel opened this week but was far from being ready. No WiFi and no breakfast facility. Room was on 4th floor with no elevator. No air conditioning and impossible to open the window more than a few centimeters. Cheap material and tiny bathroom.
