La primera sorpresa fue que 2 eran contiguas pero la otra, la nuestra, estaba en otra planta, no es ningún problema pero nos extrañó. Sí que nos chocó que no funcionaba el radiador y no había ningún aviso de que pasaba esto, nos volvimos locos mirando si era culpa nuestra y si había algún interruptor o algo,...

“Easy and friendly check in and a lovely comfy clean room. Plenty of parking available and in a lovely area and only 15 minutes from the NEC. It’s a shame we didn’t have time to use the gym and pool but we’ll be back.”

“Spacious and clean rooms. Handing over rooms upon arrival could be more efficient, taking into account that if a client arrives early, it is usually because they have been traveling very early. Good breakfast although the replenishment when a product was finished”

“I didn’t have a hot tub”

“It's a pretty setting and the room was clean. They seemd a little short staffed and, although the food was good, the tables were dirty and (bizarrely) the host told us the half empty restuarant was 'fully booked'. When we saw many empty tables, we asked the bar tender if it would be possible to order food and he was happy to oblige! Also, the lighting in our room was broken, the only way to have light was to keep the harsh overhead light on. The receptionist promised to send a service person but...

“The room was a bit tatty, needs updating and decorating, carpet was stained but clean, large comfortable bed and fridge in room, which was useful. The staff were very helpful, showing me to my room and completing the parking online form to register my car for the carpark. Its a pity the new owners no longer allow dogs in the hotel. I would return if they reviewed their policy.”

“Just ok hotel ”

“Hotel and room were very nice, however a hidden parking cost was not appreciated. Was told I needed to pay for parking at reception on arrival, when I mentioned to manager(?) that evening that it showed that parking was free both on Expedia and their official website he said it was a new charge that they obviously hadn't updated online, but was given no choice but to pay or leave (hotel is on a main road near no other options!)”

“Room was clean and nicely presented. There is significant building work taking place so restaurant not open (which they did pre-warn me about,), and skeleton staff. However, the staff were super helpful and friendly. Everything closes at 8pm ( bar, front gates etc) so not a place to stay if you are looking to relax of an evening outside of your room. ”
