“A good location to explore the area. Bus stop on doorstep for Reading, Henley on Thames. Breakfast good and reasonably priced as were main meals. Friendly and helpful staff.”

“Plenty of parking, friendly staff, Very clean. Limited menu but excellent quality. Let down by peeling paintwork on exterior giving a neglected appearance. Would benefit from a fridge in the bedroom”

“Beautiful 18th Century pub in quiet village location. Taken to room, lovely decor, big bed, bathroom was a little tired. Shower had no hot water when I tried at 4.30pm, thankfully had some the following morning. Had a wonderful night sleep, a shame some kind of breakfast is not included in the price. Welcoming staff and lovely locals. Would I stay again, yes. ”
