Prices seem more reasonable now on booking websites and comprable to the Premier Inn over the road which is good as the Doubletree is up another level. Or two.

Tired room but clean. The owners should let you know with the check in details that you will require photo ID and want a cash security deposit on the key card, as I had neither of these on check in.

Hygge at Vallum
We had a brilliant stay at the Hygge, it is tucked in the corner surrounded by open countryside, just beautiful. The quietness was appreciated and lovely.
