Thomaston Trip

The best vacation rental we have stayed at. The property was well maintained and clean inside and outside. All the commonly used items were well stocked. We enjoyed being creek side drinking morning coffee and 5 o’clock somewhere margaritas. Kayla and Joel are awesome hosts!

BEAUTIFUL PRIVATE GETAWAY

The little home on the creek/river is beautiful, peaceful and very private. We slept amazing and then to awake to the beauty/sounds of the creek while having coffee to start our day. We will be staying here every time we go to Thomaston!

Great place for a weekend getaway! Quiet, serene and tranquil! Ate every meal on the porch watching & listening to the music of the creek right off the porch! Great hosts ready to answer all our questions.

Breathtaking and Peaceful

Absolutely beautiful area and the bubbling creek was so peaceful. Taking a nap with the windows open a big bonus. The doggies were an extra bonus! This was our 2nd time staying and will definitely be back again.

Amazing stay!!

We came down from Ohio to visit my brother and we could not have asked for a better place to stay!! It is cozy and relaxing plus you cant beat the quiet and peacefulness of the creek flowing! We had an amazing time and we will definitely be back!!

Beautiful spot on the river

Fall was the perfect time to enjoy this getaway. Even though the river wasn't flowing as normal due to dryer conditions, you could still here and see some of the flow. Sitting on the porch in the mornings and evenings was extremely peaceful. If you are ever in the area this is a perfect place to stay.

Most peaceful place ever!

My husband and I stayed at the cabin for the New Year's weekend on 2022. We wanted to spend some quiet and peaceful time; and this place was a little peace of heaven. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived because the cabin was actually more beautiful than in the pictures.( and very clean, which we loved) This is the place to stay if you want to experience the beauty of nature combined with peace and tranquility. Can't wait to visit again.

Great getaway!!

We stayed at this cabin to be close to our kids an grandchildren. The cabin was lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the deck relaxing. Our dog came with us, and he had a blast walking on the rocks in the creek and playing with the owner's dogs. We definitely will be back!!

Great relaxing getaway!

We came down from Ohio to visit my brother. While searching for a place to stay We came across this gem! We loved the coziness of the cabin and the beautiful views of God's wonderful creations!! We loved our morning and nightly sits on the deck listening to the creek flow! We will definitely plan to be back in the future!!

Breath Taking, Peaceful and Clean

Beautiful property with peaceful atmosphere. The cabin was adorable and cozy. It had everything you could need. The host/owners were so nice and hospitable and their dogs adorable. It was just two of us and our dog. The only thing I would change is the couch downstairs, it doesn’t really allow for 2 people comfortably, if you’re hanging out inside and don’t want to be in bed. Maybe a bench style couch? Otherwise, just a perfect place to get away and disconnect!!!! Definitely recommend!

SOUTH BOUND TO HOME

Kayla and Leon are exceptional hosts! We were honored to be their first VRBO Guest! This setting is 10+ off the charts!!! I wont tell you a thing - you have to experience this perfect out off the way setting. All appointments were extremely comfortable. They have thought of everything!! We stayed for three days - but you could stay longer and just enjoy!! The sunrise awakening you in the morning through the big windows is not to be missed!! We have this location on our return list !!!

Thomaston, My Mommy's Hometown

Total 5star stay, deducted 1star ab chk-in procedure only because the listing run by a management company at time was not up to date and not only time we've had prob w/ Vacasa run stay. Owners were nearby & solved the problem. This home is comfortable w/ everything needed & the view of being rt on Potato Creek makes one want to stay home, so peaceful, 5 star stay! Norris Fine Foods in Thomaston is a good all you can eat place. If a smallish appetite, chk-out their servings for day & ask for DIY take-out weighed by the lb. Might save you a cpl $$. We'd stay here again & highly recommend it. Aloha, Jahnys n' Stan

Cabin was perfect. Beautiful cottage well designed spacious upper room w king bed. Very clean. Enjoyed making our omelettes and coffee every morning for breakfastAbsolutely amazing property rocks by creek in front so picturesque. Romantic get away. We hope to return!
