“We recently stayed on spider Lake 16 miles outside of Traverse City. We stayed in unit 10 which was comfortable but minimalistic, depends on what you are looking for. This unit did not have a very good view of Spider Lake, If you’re looking lmto be on the lake, you may want to look at one of the other rental units there. “I did the iceman bike race and needed a place to stay. The location was amazing. The finish line and after party was at timber ridge campground which was less than 5 minutes away. The drive to the start was 25 mins at Kalkaska. Great location for any iceman participant. Beautiful setting on spider lake. Quit and relaxing especially for a crazy race weekend. The rooms were clean with good facilities. Really enjoyed our stay.”
