Home away from home is an understatement. Comfy, simple life with a pond full of fish. What more could you ask for? Fully equipped home made relaxing easy. Quiet spacious property with perfect view of the stars while sitting out next to the fit pit.was tranquil. Would definitely visit again. Family friendly or a romantic get away, you cant go wrong.

For a great get away go to Hidden Vista Ranch! We will go back. It was so quiet and the cabin is perfect! Just in love!!! Great hosts!

Exactly what our family was looking for!

The cabin was spotless, and the environment was absolutely perfect! Our family had so much fun fishing during our stay! it truly was an unforgettable experience. Hands down, the best cabin we’ve ever been to. Highly recommend!

Amazing

Stayed here for 3 nights with my dog and it was a much needed getaway that provided everything I needed. No cable or internet helped me disconnect and relax. It has a smaller kitchen but still has everything you need (toaster oven, hot plate, ice maker) and the bed sheets were soooo soft.

Another amazing stay!

This was our third stay at the cabin and it was the best one yet! We enjoy the quiet and privacy at the cabin. It is always so clean and equipped with everything we need. Even with the cooler weather, we had great fishing all weekend. We saw the cows at least once a day. Enjoyed the sunsets, campfires, and more. We can't wait to return!

Week Long Fishing and Relaxation

We had a great time at this charming and cozy cabin. The cabin is really cute inside and out. The owner went above and beyond to make sure that the cabin has everything you need and is really comfortable. The pond is stocked with plenty of fish and we fished from day one to day six. We caught several bass, perch and crappies every day we were there. This was a wonderful getaway and we will be going back.

Amazing Cabin - The Pics Don’t do it Justice!

Wonderful cabin, beautiful property, and amazing hosts! By far the best hosts we’ve had (and we’ve had some good ones) with phenomenal communication, always being happy to help, and special amenities for us and our pups. We loved fishing at the pond and caught several bass with minnows, including a 20” doozie! The cabin is very clean and much more spacious than you’d imagine with the square footage. The star gazing was beautiful along with various wildlife around the property. We look forward to staying again!

Peaceful, secluded, respectful

Hosts are easy to communicate with and very thoughtful with how they set up the cabin. Kitchen is well equipped, USB plugs all over, and two AC units running. We stayed during the 105° TX weather and were very comfortable in the cabin. Clean and tidy. Cows are a nice touch.

Great Place to relax

Hidden Vista Ranch was a wonderful experience for my wife and myself. We spent 5 days here at the cabin and enjoyed our time there. We had our grandchildren come out to the cabin and they were happy to have so much to do with the games inside or the fishing outside. The quiet evenings with the fire burning in the pellet stove created a cozy room to watch DVDs. Between the microwave, toaster oven and hot plate, it was easy enough to fix our breakfasts and dinners. Highly recommend and we do plan on staying here again in the future.

Secluded, peaceful, clean, straightforward

Cabin features are thoughtfully chosen, comfortable, and reliable. Well-prepared kitchenette. Two AC units. Cute pellet stove. Hosts friendly, respectful, and easy to communicate with. Wandering cows and pond are nice touch. Cell reception understandably spotty.

Peaceful Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this location. The home's setup was lovely, and we were tucked away from any other people on the property. There was plenty for us to do, between exploring the property, fishing in the pond, and relaxing on the porch. Communication before and during our stay was prompt and helpful. The kitchen is well prepped with the basics for your stay (pots, pans, utensils, plates). Coffee is a Keurig machine. We ended up having to go to a store for coffee pods (there were only tea pods), but there are a couple grocery stories in a 20 minute vicinity. We highly recommend this property!

The Perfect Escape from Reality

This cabin was a little slice of heaven. The property, the cabin itself, everything was so beautiful and comfortably secluded. The amenities here were above and beyond what we expected and truly felt like a home away from home

Peaceful

My wife and I were looking for a quiet weekend away, that's exactly what we got. Enjoyed going into Taylor for the Farmers Market followed by drinks and lunch at Texas Beer Company. Back at the house for a beautiful sunset and watching the deer feed all over the property.

Cozy Secluded Retreat!

Thorndale Cabin was a great getaway for my family during the New Year holiday! The pellet burning furnace kept the cabin nice and warm and the flames were soothing to the soul. Very well equipped with everything you could ever need during a stay. The grounds are also beautiful and feature a pond and some farm animals. I would love to go back and visit during the spring!
