“Great weekend stay! We noticed the fire pit was burnt out but it also looked like they were replacing them this weekend. The bed was mostly comfy and the hot tub was great! The drive in was a little confusing with the junk yard and a few more blankets and pillows could be nice but either way we had a great weekend. ”

“It is beautiful and serene, the dogs loved the huge space to run and the trails to explore from the house. We loved the quiet. It is a beautiful house inside as well, the large deck out back got lots of use. You might want to consider not taking a car up the driveway as it is definitely rough, but it's in the mountains so that is expected. We would absolutely stay again!!”

“Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Black Bear Cabin. It had a relaxing ambience and set up for comfort from the beds and furniture, the well equipped kitchen, ample towels and blankets, to the wrap around porch and the hot tub. It was meticulously clean! Even the wildlife seem to know this is a tranquil place-we viewed a baby deer about the grounds wait around for momma doe, which came to collect him towards dusk. Thanks, Mechele, for sharing your home with us!”

We were a close drive to hiking trails coffee shops, restaurants. It is the best of both worlds! “Check in was super easy. Place was clean. We met Dave on the Road. He was super pleasant. No neighbors as far as the eye can see. Record player was a nice touch and no internet was much needed. They left out treats for our dogs and some fresh tomatoes from their garden. Btw the shower was awesome. Will be back!”

“Had a great time. The Cavalier Cabin was perfect for traveling with another couple. There's bedroom and full bath upstairs and another bedroom and full bath downstairs which made for a nice division of space. Had great evenings on the upper deck and firepit down in the yard. “We took a girls trip 5 women ages 35-55. We absolutely loved this place. Serene and comfortable. It could’ve easily accommodated more. We honestly could’ve just hung out at the house without sightseeing. It’s the perfect location to relax with a good book if you have little ones they would also love this place. The creek and game room would’ve provided our kids a good time if we had wanted to bring them lol 10 out of 10 recommend.”
