The bed is lumpy and springy and when we complained Secret Suffolk added a nylon cover that caused sweating (cheaper than cotton) so person in that bed never had a good night's sleep. or”

“When it says “ Sea View” it means it . Clear view of the bay all the way to the Port of Felixstowe. Very close ( 100 metres) to the beach but on a quiet campus away from the noisy seaside “ attractions “. It is the old Sanitorium to the now closed Felixstowe College. As such the doors and corridors are wide and the rooms spacious. Each room has a door onto the private patio. The rest of the campus seems to be posh flats . We weren’t disturbed at all and the natives seemed friendly. Dad is 92...

“At the end of a long and narrow driveway one suddenly arrives at an enchanted garden ... friendly owners will show you around the ponds and garden, including the chicken coops and large veggie garden (by the way, the eggs were just yummy!). Enjoying a late afternoon aperitif on the deck next to the pond, with the swans in the distance, is just magical. We will definitely return as the place is also ideally located to discover the broader AONB of the Suffolk Coast & Heath ... Orford, Woodbridge...
