This house is a hidden gem, a bit up the hill but just 10 minutes off the main road for a spectacular view. Watch satellites orbit the sky from the hot tub!!

I recently stayed here with my family and we visited Sequoia National Park. This home was minutes away from the beautiful national park entrance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and James was attentive and available when I needed him. Would love to visit again.

Unique location. Deer right in the back yard. Handy to the parks. Spacious, clean, had most everything we needed except coffee filters. Really enjoyed the hot tub. Nice place. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay, house was nice, area and location was great. I have stayed in many VRBO rentals and this one was just OK. The reason is because it is missing simple things like washcloths. No bowls with lids or plastic wrap nothing and it’s not like you can run down the street to the store. It’s a long ways away. Also there’s no dressers so you don’t really have anything to put your luggage on or anywhere to put your things away so that’s really inconvenient, It’s just very minimal compared to other places I’ve stayed. We did have an issue with the chemicals being wrong on the hot tub, but the owner was very responsive and had somebody come out right away and fix it. Tim was great getting the hot tub back up and running. We didn’t use the screen porch because the screen is not attached at the bottom and it was full of bugs (and a tarantula )and it was very dirty, which was a shame because it would’ve been nice to sit out there if it was clean and enjoy the beautiful view. With a little better cleaning and a lot more maintenance this place could be wonderful.

Big, beautiful and magical location!!’ You feel so close to nature with all the luxuries of home! You can even star gaze. It is perfect for a family get away. The area is so serene and the views are just extraordinary beautiful!!!

Great location (near Sequoia National Park), great views, and layout. Very kid friendly, quiet and peaceful. Suggestions for improvement: Missing bear box for garbage, Water in hot tub green, Kitchen needs: scouring powder, more towels, containers with lids, baggies, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, more paper towels Bedrooms need: dressers or more closet shelves, more lights, Bathrooms: no sink stopper in small bathroom, no plunger, no bath tub mat (or no-slip strips), poorly labeled shower supplies, mis-labeled bottle of hair conditioner, Linens: no wash cloths, no extra sheets (for air mattress- which leaks), and Scatter rugs & area rugs are a trip hazard (corners are curled), are slippery and thread bare. We recommend supplying laundry detergent and add the cost to the rent.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Property and home is nice and spacious. Pretty peaceful other than the close neighbor dog that seemed to bark and be heard every night/morning while we were there. The property owner was pretty prompt with responding to my messages regarding any concerns so thats a plus. Here are my complaints about our stay; we were unable to use the ceiling fan in the master bedroom or turn on the light without the fan because apparently the previous guest lost or stole the fan remote. Property owner was not aware of this until I made him aware by asking. There were no wash cloths to wash your face (only hand towels) because according to the owner people steal them or throw them away. So he does not provide them. Hot tub was on premises but was not hot the first 2 nights, we were told to check the braker however there was power to it. For some reason it was in sleep mode and then were given instructions to get it out of that. Followed the instructions and it seemed to be warming up, but we never got to use it. My biggest complaint of all is the horrible uncomfortable bed in the MB. I think it is the worst thing I have ever slept on in all my years. I woke up with hip, back, and shoulder pain every morning. Please invest in a better mattress and pillows for this home so your guest can get a better nights sleep. The home and property is a nice little getaway and close to Sequoia National Park, but we couldn't wait to leave for somewhere more comfortable to sleep!

Great location to enjoy sequoia national park

Perfect location to come back to after a long day of hiking. The house was clean and the view from the backyard is amazing. The kids loved it!

We loved this mountain retreat!

Fantastic house in a stunning location. The hot tub was great. We have no complaints and would stay again if ever back in the area. We saw tons of wildlife throughout our 3 day stay, including a baby deer, a buck, turkeys, lizards.

The backdrop of the property was truly picturesque and the house itself was great. It could definitely use some repairs, though, and the number of bugs, ants mostly and mainly in the kitchen, was significant but somewhat understandable. From FL so understand how they always find their way inside. The written instructions were very clear and thorough. Wifi worked great for the whole family. Was able to get some work done while the kids were on their devices. They provided shampoo and body wash, and there were plenty of towels but could have used some wash cloths. Also could have provided some dish detergent. The description said it could house up to 9 which is tight and not sure the blankets, pillows, or towels would support that but for us it was plenty. We’re a family of five and stayed for only a couple days but would recommend to others and would stay again given the opportunity. It was plenty of space for us.

Perfect getaway to relax and enjoy the mountains. The property is private and quiet. We enjoyed sitting outside to enjoy the wildlife and the stars at night. Very convenient to the Foothills entrance of Sequoia Park and Three Rivers. The property is updated and comfortable. Recommend.

An incredible view and privacy at Sequoia National Park

Every view from the house was incredible. We enjoyed sitting on the swing overlooking the valley and taking time to relax as a family. The house was comfortable with air conditioning and places to cook and hang out. Sitting under the stars in the hot tub was a great way to end the day in the park.

As described, spacious property ground, spectacular view, very private. The cabin was recently renovated, so in good condition. Generous amenities. Clear communications from host. Contactless check in and check out, very easy process.
