Our Cowboys Hideout is on a working horse ranch with spectacular mountain views!

  • Enjoy peace and quiet roaming freely on 45 acres of beautiful horse ranch property surrounded by the foothills in Three Rivers. Visit mares, foals and stallions in thier pastures. There are horses and a pony in the horse stables adjacent to your living quarters. You have a private enclosed back yard patio with a barbecue and are just 6 miles away from Sequoia National Park entrance! The ranch has majestic views all around and the stars will hurt your eyes at night. Wild turkeys randomly roam the property and you’ll most likly hear roosters crowing in the mornings and coyotes or wolves howling at night. You are just minutes away from the hub of of Three Rivers. There are fun restaurants with gorgeous river views, a local brewery, two cool coffee shops, the best sandwitch shop, a yogert shop and a world famous candy store. In the summer there are rivers to swim and Lake Kaweah is minutes away. Winters are mild here and there is snow in Sequoia National Park. Its a unique experience year round. Come to visit!

We had a wonderful family trip! Our Cowboys Hideout was the perfect location from which to start our day and to come back to in the evenings after a long day of exploring the National Parks. Full kitchen was so convenient. Air conditioning worked great. Getting to say hello to the horses on the property was a fun perk and the kids loved it. Would highly recommend!

We loved staying here. A great expirience, different to your normal stay. We learnt more about horses in 15 minutes talking to Chearl that we new before.Great location, a very short drive to the park. We would definitely stay here again. Family who run ot were lovely. We walked round the ranch to see the various horses. Even had a couple of cold beers in the fridge for us!

Everything was amazing, we loved going for evening walks around the property and looking at all the horses and wild turkeys! The close proximity to the gate of sequoia national park was another added bonus. The property itself had everything we needed, fully stocked kitchen, bathroom with lots of towels and soaps.

The description and photos of the Cowboy Hideout and the property do not do it justice. It far exceeded our expectations. Communication from Chearl was outstanding from just after booking until checkout. The Cowboy Hideout was spacious and the small touches made it feel like "home away from home". Location was minutes from town to the various restaurants as well as Sequoia. We loved walking the property and looking at all of the horses and foals. The Cowboy Hideout is a gem!

Quiet and great location

If you love horses and want to stay close to Sequoia national Park this should be your choice. Also close to restaurants and grocery.

Comfortable and tranquil haven

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cowboys hideout. The location is beautiful and we really appreciated the attention to detail throughout the property which made it a very easy and comfortable place to stay. Perfect for a trip to Sequoia National Park.

Cowboy Hideout Hidden Gem

Our stay at the Cowboy Hideout exceeded all expectations. Chearl was a top notch host, and the setting within the horse ranch is simply stunning. We hope to return someday!

We loved our stay at the hideout! The pictures dont do it justice. So comfortable inside with everything you need. The hosts are attentive but never crowd your space. We loved visiting the horses and guving them carrots. We will absolutely be back!

We had the best stay! Close to the parks and a nice swimming area for cooling off on a hot day. We took an evening stroll around the pastures to see the horses and Tilly each night. The kitchen was well stocked and ready to use. Highly recommend for a trip to sequoia!

This place is beyond amazing and definately exceeded our expectations. Cute, clean and very relaxing. Great patio with electric grill for a kicked back evening after a day at the park. The location was beautiful and we looked forward to saying good morning to all the horses while walking our pups each day. It is only a few minutes from the entrance to Sequoia NP. Nice local brewery close by as well. Would recommend bringing any groceries with you that you might need. The local General Store is a bit expensive. The cabin was stocked with some spices and such, which was helpful. The Host was welcoming and very good at communicating. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area or just wanting a quiet get away. We truly enjoyed our stay!!!!

Wonderful stay at an unique place! It's a tranquil spot for enjoying nature in peace, but close to the town and the park too. We loved being able to see the horses and took a lovely walk around the neighborhood in the morning. We also appreciated all the many thoughtful touches in the cabin from the coffee bar and snacks to the comfy beds with nice linens. The AC was good and the little yard perfect for breakfast and a little stargazing. Being able to bring our dog was a definite plus as well.

Great Stay for Sequoia National Park

Our Cowboy's Hideout was a great place to stay for our visit to Sequoia National Park. There was plenty of space for us and our friends, and the back patio was perfect for hanging out and stargazing at night. The hosts were very communicative and answered all our questions promptly. I highly recommend staying here for if you're traveling with 2-4 people.

Fun on the ranch

This is a great location to stay around Sequoia NP. The property is unique and the owner/boarders were gracious with letting our children meet their animals. Wish we could have stayed for more than one night!
