“This hotel is very well situated, the parking is a bonus and the views from the restaurant are stunning. The food was well cooked and the waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the age of the building and the reason why there was no lift but we struggled somewhat to lug two suitcases up to the top floor as our room was in the converted attic. The view from the room was great and the room itself was spacious, it could have benefited from a fridge and some of the roller...

“Excellent staff committed to ensuring that the Cliff Hotel is one of the best three star hotels. Consistently good over a number of visits I have made.”

“Service throughout stay was very good, check in quick and with no issues. Room spacious and had all the amenities required. Breakfast and restaurant meals very good with great selection for both.”

“This was our first time staying here and definitely won’t be the last. From beginning to end a wonderful experience. Both hosts professional, friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast. Comfy beds with super shower and spotless well equipped room. Made to feel extremely welcome 😊”

“Very nice room (just need more attention to cleaning the floors) and good burger meal in the pub - thank you!”

“Lovely big bathroom , very comfortable bed. Parking wasn’t a problem at all as parking right outside on the street .”

“The room was very warm even with the windows open as it was at the top of the property. A room fan was provided but it meant that there was a constant noise when it was on. The breakfast was really nice.”

“Liked how the staff upgraded us and were responsive to our feedback. Liked the bed and linen, and how, mostly, the apartment was clean. Liked how Oulton Broad North railway station was walkable, and how room 11 has a parking space - if hard to find and quite tight. The place was good value. Not so good: There was a stained grey rug in the living area that needs replacing. We didn’t have a tea towel or oven gloves until we asked. There was no bath mat - and not enough hooks to hang towels on.”

“Clean but a little dated hotel. Only one tiny bottle of shampoo / shower gel provided in the bathroom.”

“Very characterful and unique - little bits of history all over the place, and nice big sitting rooms to relax in.”

“OK so ..parking was good but tight .. To me the restaurant is in the wrong location..would have liked it if it was on the main floor where breakfast is served so you could have a view over the sea front while having you main meal ..rather than down below ground level .. sorry but the prices are a little high .. drink .starter .main ..half pint coke ..pate ..fish chips and peas for £32. 00 is high sorry that's my thoughts ..food was nice but still .. staff are a credit to the hotel.”
