“Lovely room lots of character. The food is excellent and clearly very popular indeed the local area, definitely reserve a table. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They had a breakfast sandwich ready for me to leave early for work which was much appreciated. Will definitely stay again ”

“A great location to explore the area, including walking distance to WoodHenge, a short drive to Stonehenge and an hour from Glastonbury. Very quiet, peaceful and quaint. The perfect short break away.”

“Loved this place and the people. It is a little far from main attractions, Salisbury and Stonehenge. About 10-15 miles. But it is so charming. Food is fantastic and building is historic. Be sure to have right converters for plugging things in as there are no USB ports in the rooms. No AC and we arrived during a short heat wave. Bed very comfortable and the soaking tub in the room was great for cooling down.”

“My husband and I stayed here for one night and overall had a very pleasant experience. Our room was beautiful, clean, and full of character, and we especially appreciated how dog-friendly the property was. The grounds and exterior of the inn were absolutely idyllic and felt like something out of a painting. The only area that could be improved was the welcome and communication from staff. While we were shown to our room at check-in, we weren't given some basic information such as breakfast...
