“The Charles was fantastic!!! Arrival was welcoming, as though we were old time friends. The main part of the house was clearly recently remodeled and painted, all while keeping with the old time charm of the house. Our room was large, and we never felt cramped. Breakfast was so good that we kept bringing it up during the day. And the scones are not to be missed!!! It is now our go to place in Napa. Could not recommend higher.”

“The worst thing about the place is that on the website they do not inform that the Hotel is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I found the key in the main door and I see that there is no type of restaurant service or any other type of food.”

“The breakfast was amazing, I was in the Safari room, which was very very cool, the owner had just refreshed the courtyard for summer, and they had an amazing little band that the owner participated on Organ with a violin player with a guitar singer. It was the perfect place, it was perfect weather, I will come again.”

“Everything we needed was provided. The only staff we dealt with were the girls cooking in the kitchen at breakfast and they were very polite and attentive. The check-in was easy once we realized it was a self check in sort of situation. My fault for not reading directions well 😆 the location and the scenery were amazing, and the room was clean and spacious. Will definitely recommend and go back.”
