“The staff at the blue jay pub were absolutely lovely and so helpful ,all i have to say is probably a member of staff needs to be alocated in the hotel to save keep walking to the pub to get extra milk ,sugar and toilet roll ,oh and the doors from the hotel room doors are the most loud and scary ones being slammed for hours and hours on end and the floor from the room above us we were room 108 is the most loudest floor heard every footstep all around there rokm so came back from weekend stay...

“We were stopping at the Lock overnight following a funeral. Reception for check in is in the pub/restaurant (obviously a cost saving exercise). Room was clean and comfortable, no tea/coffee on the drinks tray but to be honest we were so tired we weren’t having one. Comfy bed, room warm enough and minimal noise from guests in other rooms. ”

“Have stayed in The Unicorn many times in the past and have been very satisfied however this particular room lacked in a few small things. One side of the double bed did not have any surface to place personal items such as watch, phone and wallet or cash etc. Because of the exceptional large bed there was not enough room for a bedside cabinet on that side but maybe a small shelf would be handy. Also one side of the bed had a light switch but it didn’t appear to do anything, I would have expected...

“We were staying for a wedding and one of us had to leave early while the other not till much later in the day. I had reached out asking if we could get late checkout, even just an additional hour would have helped. They were super kind and had arranged late check out for us with no problems. Super helpful and friendly staff And lovely food. Only moan would be we only had a double bed rather then king-size (1st world problems I know)”

"Muy contentos con el hotel. Viajamos en familia y tuvimos la suerte de alojarnos en la habitación diseñada por el national space center con la universidad de Leicester. Es una pasada de habitación con decoración de la galaxia, incluso una constelación en el techo con luces led y una habitación separada con una puerta corredera para los niños que era una nave espacial. Desayuno incluido de buena calidad."
