This cabin is excellent. Perfect location to hiking, shopping, restaurants….but still secluded enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains. Master bed is very comfortable and the water pressure is great for a mountain cabin. Cabin is completely outfitted. The host was excellent and communication was timely and informative. We would rent again. Would give 10 stars if I was able to!

Great stay near Lake Burton

Check in was very easy with a key code. The kitchen was very well equipped and all the appliances worked well. The internet was great and easy to use. The bed was comfortable. The hot tub was very nice, spacious and had colored lights. The house had a gas fire pit on each level and a nice gas BBQ off the living room. There were great views from both decks. The house is close to Lake Burton and several state parks for hiking. We also enjoyed restaurants in Dillard and Hiawassee.

Peace and Quiet

We spent a long weekend in April relaxing and enjoying a quiet and beautiful view of the mountains. Clayton was only 10 minutes away when we wanted to have pizza at Fortify Pi or shop at all our favorite stores. We will be returning and look forward to staying again.

Nice 5-day stay

Very satisfied with this property. Had an issue with new hot tub upon arrival but owner was very responsive and made arrangements to have it corrected quickly. Other than that, all was smooth sailing.

Great stay at Highlands Hideaway

I stayed with 2 friends, and the house was just the right size for us. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom, and they were all very nice. All the beds were very comfortable. We loved the decor of the whole cabin. We especially loved sitting on the porch with the fire table sipping wine, and looking at the sunset. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The host Jenny couldn’t have been any nicer and more responsive. The nicest host I have ever delt with. Thank you sharing your wonderful mountain cabin with us! We highly recommend to others!

Perfect getaway

Another great stay!

Love staying at this cabin. Jenny is a great host. Everything was just as described. The property is quiet and close to town. I even left an item and Jenny shipped it back to my home which saved me a lot of money. Overall 10++

Amazing stay near Lake Burton!

We visit the Clayton/Lake Burton area several times a year. This cabin is the nicest place we have stayed and the most convenient to everything! We loved being in the mountains, but close to downtown Clayton as well. Our family was able to explore several state parks that were all close to the cabin. The views from the cabin were spectacular, especially at sunset! Our boys love the upstairs loft area with its own tv and games. We look forward to returning!

North Georgia escape

We escaped to north Georgia for a long weekend and had an amazing time. The house was perfect - very clean and well maintained. The view is great and we loved the location. It is also great to have decent wifi in the mountains while staying with teens. The owner was very quick to respond to any requests. This house is definitely on our list for a repeat visit.

We really enjoyed our family getaway. The cabin is beautifully kept and decorated. The neighborhood is very quiet The things to do in the area, as a family, are unlimited and plentiful. Next time we will stay longer.

A true slice of heaven

This property is amazing! Getting there involves a bit of a climb, but nothing too hair-raising. The house is peaceful with a view of the mountains from the deck. I enjoyed coffee, a good book and sunrise every morning. The owner was incredibly responsive (small AC problem and she handled it asap). The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

My family of five had a great experience. The house is very cozy with open concept but also has enough room to spread out. The porches and views are very nice. The location was convenient for everything we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway!

This cabin is exactly as described. It is well furnished and had everything we needed for my husband’s birthday celebration. Great location and close to the quaint town of Clayton. Loved the fire pit and hot tub. The host was a good communicator and very responsive. Overall, I would highly recommend this cabin to any family, group of friends or couples.
