Dogs on adjoining property started barking at 6am. Not much the owner of the motel can do if you have inconsiderate neighbors. Motel itself was very nice close to city center.

We always stay at Aspen on King when in Timaru. Some of the rooms are a bit dated, but the staff are lovely and it is always clen and tidy. We'll be back.

Had previously stayed in the newer part of the property and was disappointed to be allocated a room in the older more tired rooms.

Thank you for staying with us leaving a review.You had made your booking reservation through 3rd party booking platform on line for 3 guests which was for a 2 bedroom unit. These units are slowly being refreshed. From your previous stay of the units located at the rear of the motel complex the room options are 1x bedroom, studio for one or two guests . Access studio option for 3x guests.

Room is a little dated. Need to have lighting out near the guest laundry. Bathroom windows need to have blinds, and updating

We offer a variety of room options.

It was a nice, comfortable stopover during our road trip to lake tekapo. Staff were friendly. Room was reasonably basic but clean. Really enjoyed the spa bath!

It was such a shame the bathroom was minute and only big enough for a toilet and a tiny shower cubicle that you had to climb up into. No bath mat so I slipped when getting out. Not sure how this place got 4 stars.

Lovely clean quiet accomodation. Had everything you could need if you want to cook etc. bed / pillows very comfortable and great quality. Really happy with our stay. We booked 2 rooms and everyone was happy and slept well. Duty Manager was super friendly and helpful.

first time stay
First time to stay here, room was great, bed was a little different, 2 singles together and at a different height, was super warm when I got in but heat pump and all was good

Close to things we needed to visit. Friendly service but room cleaning and pick up of rubbish from room could be more often. We left ours in corridor for 2 days and still there when we left. Great laundry facilities and loved the spa. Great setup in general and we really enjoyed our stay.

On the comment regarding your room cleaning and rubbish, rooms are serviced daily during guests stays, At time of your check in, hoping that you would of been advised by our staff that our Housekeeping staff , during this time in timaru of the omicron/covid being present for the safety of guests and staff that services of rooms were currently not taking place and should you require any thing for your room, fresh linen etc and rubbish in your room to be placed outside your room to please let reception know. At this time our housekeeping staff over looked the rubbish removal from outside your room. Regards, Management
