“Check in was so easy. They texted to say what room and you can just go straight to your room. The staff was so nice and helpful. The whole place was great. I was so sad I was just staying one night. I am already trying to plan another trip so I can stay longer. ”

The location is an easy drive to any winery and walkable to downtown Guerneville for food and drink; be sure to hit up the local bank turned into an ice cream shop! ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home accommodated our group of 13 adults comfortably, including space for all in the large dining room, kitchen, dishes/flatware, glasses, etc., outdoor seating, and bathroom/bedrooms. Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. The location is quiet and tranquil as well as conveniently located to the ocean and the redwoods. We heartily recommend it.”

“Fabulous cabins, great sun exposure (but shade if desired) and perfect continental breakfast. The staff couldn’t be friendlier! The only rub is dog related. Very dog friendly but there are only 3 dog cabins and $100 fee…pretty extreme for one night. There is literally zero additional cleaning involved and I doubt the cleaners get it anyway. Additionally, dogs can’t be left in the room unattended. I think a pet damage deposit would be more appropriate, but I don’t own the place. Will probably...

“It was not what we expected because of the photos on the website. The views are pretty nice and the room and bathroom were clean. But the rest of the hotel was in degraded condition, like missing serious maintenance. All the outdoor furniture was old and rusty. The swimming-pool was horrible, the bottom was green because of the scaling paint and it was not appealing at all. ”

“I want to say don’t come here because it’s so good. Probably safe from before being overrun though as it was not crowded. The restaurant, on the other hand, is very popular which can be a problem if don’t want to leave the property. Mixed blessing there but food and cocktails are extremely good. ”

“Our stay at Surrey was delightful! We were welcomed warmly and immediately felt comfortable and cared for. Bailey arranged for us to switch tents graciously and with ease. Oli was especially kind and treated us to a delicious peanut butter cookie from the cafe. She later brought us a sample of an appetizer from a recipe that she was trying and it was such a treat! We luxuriated in the hot tub and enjoyed a fire in our fire pit. I would definitely recommend a stay here.”
